What did you see on the road today?
Earl Marischal replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I'm surprised this isn't legal to drive on the road, as stated earlier. Given some of the weird and wonderful vehicles that do seem to be legal, going on images displayed here, why not the Turnpike Cruiser? Thanks steve -

The colour I can't abide is silver metallic. To me, it makes the vehicle look cheap somehow. A real metallic steel grey is fine and looks classy when done right. steve

What's that yellow thing on the dealer's lot please? I liked the little red Plymouth; has the potential to be neat sleeper. steve -

A friend of mine has just acquired this beauty. It’s a BSA Bantam 175cc 2-stroke, rebuilt from a kit of parts by a mutual friend. steve -
Probably the best looking American car of the time. steve

Ok, the 250 (aka Dart in the U.K.) looks a bit like a fish, but I always liked it. steve -
Earl Marischal is the name of a British Rail Class 87 Electric loco, number 87029. Previously, it had been the name of a London North Eastern Railway P2 2-8-0 steam loco. The name itself is that of a hereditary Scottish office first created in the 15th century. I like the loco(s) and the name. steve
