  1. Thanks to our wonderful National Health Service, the world is a lot brighter and clearer today. Laser eye surgery cleared a film in my left eye that was a legacy of a cataract operation in the past. This will make modelling easier! ? steve
  2. I remember seeing loads of those Wartburgs on visits to Germany in 1980s and 1990s; usually in bright colours like orange and lime green. Looking at prices they go for, they ain’t a cheap car now! steve
  3. Absolutely top notch ‘32! steve
  4. This appeared opposite our house this morning. Sadly I was out but Jean said it sounded like a jumbo jet when it left. steve
  5. Completely agree about the need to remove all religious and biblical references. Car & truck modelling is a secular activity and should not be associated with anything related to religion. steve
  6. Many, many thanks to @paul alflen for the parts that will enable me to reconstruct the '34 roadster I built in the early 1970s from the 'flat box' Monogram 1934 Coupe/Roadster kit of 1965. steve
  7. Neat and practical. Great build! steve
  8. Modern Mustangs seem to be becoming as common as Capris used to be. ? Someone in my village has a bright blue one and there was an orange version in Selby when I was there the other day. steve
  9. Which one is you? steve ☺️
  10. Yup. Do you have your own copy? steve
  11. Came across this whilst looking for something else in a box of my old car books. I must bought it when it came out. The car kits it lists are amazing. The second image shows the pages listing hot rods, dragsters, etc. Some lovely kits mentioned that I would love to own! steve
  12. Mean’n’nasty! Excellent modelling. steve
  13. Wow! That's what I call a rescue. Well done. steve
  14. It was the rear lights that led me to the answer. Borgward cars featured that style and a bit more research brought up the Lloyd. steve
  15. That's a (British) Ford Thames 307E van, well the body is anyway. ? steve
  16. My 13 year old self would have answered straight away. This 70yo version took a bit longer! steve
  17. Has anyone seen one of these (or the '29) in a U.K. model shop or on a UK website? steve
  18. The prettiest and nicest BMW ever. Was always on my teenage Top Ten Wants list. (They were new then!) steve
  19. That’s a very smart truck, tastefully decorated. Nice work! steve
  20. Lotsa potential in that lot! Bit of mix'n'match and you're looking good. steve
  21. He said he wasn’t in a hurry and had a tent, just in case. ? steve
