  1. I ditto everything Bruce said. He took the words right out of my mouth. I echo on making the decals available as soon as possible.
  2. To me box art is everything. Take for instance The Rat Packer Nova. Just the way the model is represented on the box, excites me. I know I can at least build it that way. Of course there are many ways to build a kit, but by looking at the art work if is a big reason for my getting the kit. Also look at The Pontiac Tempest The Farmer, the mustang model the 65 Ford Falcon. All of them are the same thing except for the body. I know what to expect when I see one of those. After seeing dozens upon dozens of models on the forums, I just about know what to expect from seeing them in either stock format or a custom build. So yes, I really choose models via their box art, because I can build box stock or go hog wild and do a super hack on it.
  3. A super big wow! 25 at one time, what a chore, and especially since you had to had paint the details.
  4. Shoot, that is close enough.
  5. If I remember correctly, doesn't Revell put out a bus? Whoa, they do. City Liner aprox $150.00 and the London Bus was aprox $94.00 The following link is for the London Bus. The City liner is all over ebay. http://www.amazon.com/Revell-Germany-24-London-Bus/dp/B000C55A5I
  6. I got to thinking the other day while reviewing someones post on duplicating a build. Now this particular build refereed to just two cars total. The most I have ever duplicated myself, is 3. Two of them however were commissioned builds. What I want to know is, has any one builder ever built several models of the same brand, make and model and same color and if so, how many were built (that is identical builds). Like I said before the most I have seen is 3. I am sure someone has done a few, but curiosity is getting to me.
  7. Absolutely fantastic workmanship. BTW where did you obtain the chain you used. I have been looking for some.
  8. no problem. They need a good home anyway.
  9. If you are willing to pay the postage, they are yours. Sorry the pics are not of good quality, because I just did not take my time in doing the them. I will gladly do up some proper pics for you if you want. Just shoot me a pm with any need info.
  10. Are you serious. The artwork must be diamond and gold plated. No way,
  11. Sorry for the extra copy of the first pic. I still getting to know photobucket.
  12. I looked up Hoppers Bazaar and got nothing but female gift type of stuff. Is it spelled wrong?
  13. I intended to have the pics up by now, but I really don't know what to use to get them on the forum. Any clues as to a good program that I can use to post with?
  14. Tamiya that good? Does it have a slow drying time as compared to thicker CA glues?
  15. Does anyone use the Looper to dispense ca glue? I have one, but I have not yet tried it out.
  16. Doesn't the CA clog up the tip?
  17. I am curious about the Grex Tritium series. How do they compare to Iwata?
  18. No I don't use them for CA glue. Just does not work well, because the glue seems to set up too fast. I now use toothpicks or the looper. I use new syringes for kicker, because I currently use a pen for my injections. I have about 300 new syringes sitting in a closet, just waiting to be used. As I mentioned before, they work wonders with Sidekick accelerator. I don't know if it is legal for me to mail syringes, but if I can you sure would be welcome to some.
  19. I will post a pic shortly with what I think you might like. If you like, they are yours.
  20. I use my syringes for applying CA's Kicker. Does a super job. At least being diabetic, gets me tons of syringes.
  21. Such great info. Will check out Hobby Lobby for the gravity fed model. Thanks so much.
  22. According to what I see, yes they are still in business: quote from SLiXX: "Many items have been greatly reduced. All model kits, Flashpoint Resins, Detail Master, Model Car Garage, books have been reduced. (All items are limited to stock on hand only)"
  23. Oh boy! more fuel to the fire. Now more to check out and ponder over.
