He'll do custom colors and may also do scales Curtis. Just takes a bit longer to have the sheet custom printed. You'd have to ask. He'll even put your choice of tire lettering and license plates on the sheet.

Scale Motorsport has these. They come in sets of 2 in 2 different sizes but they're bloody expensive. -

I'm 100% positive those are the Revell snap '57 Chevy wheels you have there Bruce. Here's what I'm using a set on,, -
That's ridiculous. You need to find a new hobby shop 'cause your getting jipped. My local shop here in Fredericton has it listed at $49.75 cdn.

That looks great Johnny but it's not the same kit I'm working on. Yours is the Revell '31, I think? My kit doesn't have that feature. The hood is supposed to fit tight against the cowl. I do have it fixed now. I filed some material from the bottom back of the rad shell where it goes into the notches and added some shims to the front of the notches so it's tight. Everything fits pretty good now but I should have checked it before I painted the fender unit.

Didn't think to try it. I have it corrected now though. Everything fits pretty good now but I should have checked it before I painted the fender unit.

The latest reissue of the MPC '29 Woodie. Never had one before. some surprising quirks to this kit like the separate framework for the body structure. Can't say I care for how the suspension goes together and it would have been nice to have a dropped front axel but I'm gonna try to use what's in the kit to keep things simpler. One thing I did do was cut the cowl away from the woodwork of the body to make painting easier. When I mock up the body, hood and rad shell, it seems the rad is too far forward but it's sitting in slots so it should be right. I'm gonna see if I can get it back farther as it looks like the headlight bar will hit the rad if I leave it where it is now.

Don't know how I missed this last week. I also started one but I'm going a simpler route [??] and will be using mostly the kit's suspension. Dennis, how is the fit on your kit between the cowl, hood and rad shell when using the original fender unit? On mine, with the body on the fenders and the rad in it's slots, the hood seems about 1/16 too short. It seems the rad is too far forward as it looks like the headlight bar will be right up against it when installed.

Gareth, just so you know, if you're going for a stock style build, the carpet would be blue, close to the upholstery colour. Most pics show it slightly lighter but the shades were never a %100 match. Black carpet would only be used with a black interior. Sometimes a white / off-white interior with black dash but IIRC, that wasn't available on the '70. Your arm rests and handles look great. -
That's actually one of my favorite box arts, Alan. I love that it's basically black and white with red as the only actual color in the artwork. I started to build a quasi-box art car years ago with the Revell multi-piece body kit , which I actually like better then the AMT kit. And, yes, I do have a copy of the original.

Um, hate to break it to you Alan but the "Diamond in the Rough" set didn't come out until late '86 or '87. Maybe it was just the pickup kit you bought then? -
3D Printed 1967 Dodge Coronet 440

Bill, that looks so much better then the Revell kit body. I look at the kit body but I can't put my finger on exactly what's wrong with it. I think it's the roof ,, too flat or something. So, I have a couple of them and a couple of the Plymouth GTX sister kits with the same problem that I haven't built. -

Claude, congratulations on hitting the 100 mark for responses to a finished car post. I don't think I've seen anyone do that before. ??? -
OK, so, Some of you who also watch the Spotlight board may have seen that one of the members there has "sent a note to Mobius customer service" and got a response. It's just an internet hoax. So, there you have it. NOT REAL. NO Mavericks of any sort being made by them. Seeing as it came from Fakebook , I'm not surprised. If someone on Facebook told me my name is Steve, I'd check my underware before believing it. and even then I'd wonder if it was someone elses underware I had on. ??

So, who is that response to, David, mine or Gerald's post? Anyway, here's a couple more pics with the wheels I'm using and the off-white on the roof and fenders. I also did the engine and engine bay with the HOK candy root beer. This thing is gonna take days to foil. ?
