It's interesting that you say that about the D, as I could swear that I've seen a bunch with invasion stripes. Something else I'll have to look into eventually I guess, as I have a couple of ICM and Tamiya D's I'd also like to do some day.
Amen to that. I'm so paranoid about power outages or web glitches (no UPS system on my PC), that I routinely copy lengthy text before punching submit, or type and save in Outlook, just in case.
Again I have to agree; most of this garbage just adds additional expense to cars that are all too frequently too expensive to begin with, and I personally have no use for all this gadgety junk.
To be quite honest, I'm not too thrilled with any model that only depicts a specific custom vehicle, regardless of type. As a consequence, I'll avoid buying any model (for the most part), that cannot also be done as a stock version of that vehicle.
Yes, I tried that, but it only seems to turn off that signature in that specific thread. When I go to a different thread and that same individual has posted, there's the signature again, so I just turned them all off.
I'll start hitting all the Michaels and Hobby Lobby stores here locally in the next couple of months, bargain hunting. My recent purchase of the AMT 3 Stooges '40 panel delivery at HL, was a very fun find on clearance.
I couldn't agree more. If you wouldn't show it or say it to the child of a stranger, you shouldn't show it or say it on a public forum either. I had to delete a rather tasteless image the other day on another forum, as the poster obviously didn't have the class not to post it.
It seems to me that regardless of the time delay between posts, one of my posts followed by another (as in a thread update) gets merged to the previous post, assuming no one else has posted between the two. I can't seem to be able to defeat it either. So, are we having fun yet, or what?
One solution for me, was to turn off all signatures, and I have now done this. I'm probably missing some interesting stuff now, but at least the one most obnoxious signature is no longer visible.
True, but when you consider 40% off, plus (usually, for me) no tax, even with the cost of shipping included, can still be a good deal.
Perhaps they haven't yet figured out the default behavior of the new software, can be edited as required/desired.
I'm pretty miffed at not having been able to attend the PMS national convention this year. I had every intention of going, but things just fell apart over the last few months. The good news is, that I should have no problems at all attending both the 2016 and 2017 conventions.
