  1. This one is not the snap kit, although you wouldn't know it with all the visible tabs on the body and steps.
  2. This would be my re-entry into the hobby. This is the first kit I have built in over 20 years and the first big rig I have done in over 35 years. I can see several of my mistakes, but it will be a learning experience for me. The pictures are not very good (still learning how to take photos of models). This is just a box stock build with only paint details ( I should have taken a picture of the interior before completion). The color is Tamiya TS-92 Metallic Orange. Thanks for looking.
  3. Just whatever makes you happy. I remember some of the fastest cars growing up were not the nicest looking.
  4. Really nice. I like the P-51 inspiration (that's what I see in it anyway..), great build!
  5. Great color for that car. Really nice build.
  6. Very nice. Something you don't see everyday.
  7. Steel wheels or mismatched would really say "sleeper". I like the paint. I like the backdrop you have, what is it?
  8. Welcome back. I had been out of modeling for over 20 years as well. Soak in the excellent information and inspiration from this forum. Great bunch of people in here.
  9. Just needs a set of wings and Christopher Lee behind the wheel and it's "The Man With The Golden Gun" all over. Very nice build.
  10. Very cool, I actually had one of those 1:1 over 25 years ago. I always liked them better than the GT.
  11. Awesome build! The door mirrors are the only exterior clue as to what lurks under the hood.
  12. Looks great! The color choice is amazing, made a big difference in this car.
  13. Very cool build. Love the look.
  14. I do too. Spent a good part of the summer of '86 in the cab of one before I went to basic training.
  15. Amazing topic and photographs. Those of us not in the fire service really have no idea what goes on behind the scenes or on the front lines of the fires. All we can do is be thankful there are people willing to serve in that capacity.
  16. It's sitting in Corinth, MS. It has been there for many years
  17. Just a few forgotten workhorses from days gone by. Enjoy.
  18. Hmmm, doing 140 in an 86 Mustang GT on I-80 east of Cheyenne, WY. The owner of the car was in the passenger seat while I drove, the car was less than a year old at the time. After we coasted down to around 70, a WY state trooper passed us going in the other direction, that was a close call.
  19. Thanks, I don't drive it much, but I like having it around.
  20. Here's mine, nothing special. 2001 Expedition and 1996 F-150 Eddie Bauer. Paid $1000 for the F-150 several years ago. It's one of the best trucks I've ever owned.
