  1. Of course. I always do. Some of the cans do well. While others don't.
  2. I have recently bought several cans of assorted colors of Rustoleum paints. They are like spraying colored water on my models. Even primer is bad. It runs off soon as it hits the parts I spray it on. Is anyone else having this issue with Rustoleum?
  3. I've got one. Possibly the only one that exists.
  4. I'm getting up to 72 myself. All 1/24th 1/25th semi trucks. I've got five now I'm working on.
  5. My cabs are on their way. I have a tracking number now for them.
  6. Thanks. And I know a lot of the story. He told me a couple days ago in a text. He said he'd mail my cabs today. I'm going through a lot myself. My mom is in the hospital in intensive care. My mind is going in a dozen different directions right now.
  7. Ok I posted a question about where to get resin cabs from and I mentioned the only place I knew of to get them from was gone. Yes I was talking about Keystone Miniature Models. Some of you have said they are making a new site. I ordered 2 cabs from them for $190 just before they shut their site down. I text them a couple days ago and they informed me I would still be getting my cabs and they would be in the mail either yesterday or today. I haven't heard anything since yesterday. I've sent 2 text and tried calling just now. The phone goes straight to voice mail. I really want the cabs but I'm worried I'll have to do a charge back through PayPal.
  8. I have two cabs ordered from him. He has taken his site down. He was supposed to mail my cabs out yesterday. Then said he would today. I haven't heard anything from him though. I'm afraid I'm going to have to do a charge back through PayPal.
  9. I haven't done it, but cut away at it and try. If you mess it up I have you covered. I know I have at least one extra in my parts box I can give you.
  10. Their old website is gone. I've heard they went out of business.
  11. Anyone know of a site to get resin semi truck cabs? I'm looking for several, but one in particular is a Brockway like the one that flips over in Convoy. I'd appreciate any answers. The site I did buy from is no more.
  12. I didn't notice it was warped before I painted it. I just left all of the chassis parts on the trees when I painted them. But it looks like it's going to be ok. I glued everything together and with the engine it's almost perfectly straight.
  13. I have a brand new Moebius International Lonestar kit. These kits are expensive as everyone knows. Anyway one of my frame rails is warped so bad it has a corkscrew like effect to it. I haven't tried gluing it to the other rail and cross members yet I'm afraid to. I paid way to much for this kit for one piece of it to scrap the whole kit. Has anyone else had this problem, and how can it be fixed? Here's a couple of pictures of the warped rail.
  14. On this project we have a Astro 95 cab. I'm trying to make it into a Western Star cabover. I took the grill from the AMT WS conventional cut it to fit on the front of the Astro cab. Took the headlight backings from the WS and put them behind where the Astro Bezels go. And this is were it is now. I can't get any headlight bezels to fit. I need some square ones.
  15. You think so too? You're the second person to tell me it looks good like that. And I agree with both of you. The plan all along was to have it look tired and weathered. I may just leave it like this.
  16. So no the AMT Western Star cab will not work with the Resin Hayes hood. But on the bright side the Hayes cab is not cracked. It was just a bad crack in the paint. I've been sanding on the hood and the cab and well here they are now.
  17. I got one better. I bought the Revell Peterbilt 359 kit from Walmart a few years ago. I got home opened it and it had a bunch of junk in it. No sign of the Peterbilt. Upon further inspection you could tell someone had cut the very bottom of the shrink wrap to get the box open took the truck out then put the junk in there and taped the shrink wrap back to look like it had never been opened if you didn't really pay attention. I got my money back on it. But the point is you never know what you're getting.
  18. Thanks guys for helping me with the resin cab question. Now I have a new question. I have a Wilson Livestock Trailer I'm about to start building. I built one a few years ago and had this same problem. It was never resolved. Ok so what is the best way to get the middle door on the back to fuction/raise up and down? It's just a bunch of flat pieces that go in two tracks.
  19. It's not in there yet, I don't even have it yet should be here tomorrow. Thanks for the warning though.
  20. Thanks for the heads up. Don't worry it's not in there yet. I don't even have it yet, should be here tomorrow. I'm glad I checked here first before I made a bad mistake though.
  21. It's going in the purple pond. It'll probably have to be sanded too. The hood is all I'll be using. That cab doesn't fit.
  22. That cab is shot it's not the one I'll be using. I'm using this one.
  23. This is the hood and cab.
  24. I'm getting a Hayes hood soon. I was just wondering what cab to use with it. It's damaged and not complete. The cab is with it but not really usable. I heard it will work with the AMT Western Star cab which is my plan. Also there is no grill. What would make a good grill?
