Calling this one. Just got it done. The cab is from Dave at AITM the decals are from Jerry at Model Truckin and the chassis is from Sam I am. It was a GMC Astro 95 chassis. Been working on this one in secret.

Thank you Gator. I have about 5 projects going at the moment and put my Duel truck on the back burner. I just got my Mack Superliner in the mail this morning from AITM and put it in primer.

You might just need to contact him and ask him when he thinks the Rubber Duck Mack might be back in stock. Honestly I have never seen it be in stock. I was wanting to ask you. Where did you get your trailer for your Duel truck? There is a place that sells them but it looks like the only thing they have is the body with no wheels.

Cool. Yes I am on Facebook I just don't have it on my phone yet. I go to it on my tablet. Right now I'm working on my Mack Superliner I just got in the mail this morning. I should get the IH 9300 Monday or Tuesday probably.

That's a nice old Ford. Your brother has a real truck like that? What scale is that? It looks bigger than 1/24 1/25. I bought a 9300 today from Dave.

Yes they are. They look so good on this old truck. They are made out of pewter though.

I was going to use an old KW W900 frame but I agree with you the IH 4300 will work better. I'm building the 9300 in honor of my neighbor when I was a kid. He drove a black 9300 up till the day he passed away. I want to build that truck.

Nice truck. I'm going to be building the shorter cab of one of these soon.

I thought the wheels always looked different in several scenes. There are so many factors that still make this one tough. Like the hood ornament. The colors changed from one scene to the next too. I knew there was 2 trucks used but there was actually 3? Another thing that keeps changing are the colors of the fuel tanks. Sometimes they're black sometimes they're faded chrome. As can be seen in both of those pics there. This one is harder than I thought it would be.

I'm doing the one with the red oil cooler on the driver's side. I am going to order the hood conversion from AITM thanks for the info on where to get the trailer. I didn't think one existed. The decals can be found on Model Truckin.

I plan on ordering several conversion cabs from AITM next week. I just wanted to know what payment methods they except. I asked them and even made an account there but they never replied back to that specific question and there is nothing on the site about payment methods.

Thanks. I'll probably just build the truck. I may not even do a trailer for it. The weathering and aging is hard. And another problem with this one is they used 2 different trucks in the movie and they were slightly different colors. One is gold and the other is more of a champagne color. Tough truck to replicate.

I'm not sure if I could pull that off. I may just dig my Duster out and paint it red. If I still have it. I was just in the tote it should be in the other day and don't remember seeing it in there.

I've got a Duster like that in my closet I think. I don't have a Dodge Dart though.
