Really like that, many years ago I remember going to see an identical green 99 Cobra to that when I was doing a bit of freelancing for an American car magazine over here in the UK. Your model has totally nailed it.

Thanks both, The decals are beautifully printed and have no carrier film. I did find them a little thick though and struggled to get the larger ones to settle. Decalcas advise against using setting solution too.

Built using Decalcas resin detail kit and Keating motorsports Wynns livery decals. Zero paints Wynns purple, added antenna and pitot tube made from a staple.

Body is now clear coated. It went well but a few areas where it could use a polish so waiting for it to harden off. Added resin fuel inlet and air jack, this is getting close to completion...

Bringing this one back after 5 years! It stalled due to starting a new job and sourcing wheels. The real car now has a set of TSW Nurburgring wheels and I found a close match from a resin caster in Europe. They are on order. Previously I had painted the body with Tamiya rattle cans, opened up the front grilles and modified the Eaton blower to resemble the VMP TVS on my car.

Plenty of time to work on this, chassis is complete, resin wheels and tyres are painted and detailed. Used BMF on the rear firewall and Uschi metallic powder on the discs. The CF decal is Tamiya extra fine weave. Tyres were sprayed in a very dark grey Tamiya mix with a puff of semi gloss clearcoat over the sidewalls, the wheels are a combination of XF1 and flat gunmetal. Body clearcoat next.......

Spent yesterday painting a few detail parts and began work on the cockpit. I have added carbon to enhance the interior and also the aero parts. Additionally, put the motor together and decalled it.

Made a start on this one, drilled out the RH fuel inlet and air jack port. The Decalcas resin parts include a lovely rear diffuser, replacement wheels and brakes. The body is primed and base coated, Zero paints Wynns purple.

Having been overwhelmed by the great response to my 69 GT40 I thought I would attempt a WIP for my next one... The kit is the Revell Le Mans Ford GT and I am using the Decalcas resin upgrade set plus decals for the Keating motorsports Wynns GT AM entry from 2019.

My decals came from Hiroboy in the UK. These Fujimi 40's are a rare thing these days. I do have the Trumpeter 66 car though......

This was the first model I built for about 30 years! I built it as a surprise for my mate Pete who owns this 88 LX with 347 stroker and vortech blower (in the UK) I tried to get it as close as I could to the original. It was a bit of a struggle and it's not great but he was very pleased with it.

Been a member for a while but not posted much, I have had limited time to build anything recently but now due to world events I find myself with plenty of spare time. This is actually the 68 version of chassis 1075 built with Shunko decals as the 69 #6 car. Zero paints were used for the blue and orange. The Firestone tyre decals fell apart, replacements on order. Really enjoyed it despite my less than youthful eyes these days.

Hi freakshow, 3d printing is a bit of a black art to me! Would someone be able to create the design & print? Without it costing as much as the real ones did!

I have ordered Keith Marks decals with metallic blue stripes to replace the kit items that are a solid blue. Been also working on the dash, with signature plaque & Pioneer radio.

Wheels are the biggest headache, I have Shelby CS40's, they are a modern interpretation of a Halibrand. Any ideas would be gratefully received. I have the KR wheels & a set of Pegasus vantage coming that may work combined? I have begun with the engine. I have modified the supercharger to resemble the TVS that is fitted to my car instead of the stock Eaton, the engine is painted to match factory finishes. I have also modified the front splitter to more accurately match the factory piece.

After a long absence from modelling, I recently got the urge to build a replica of my full size GT500. Using the Revell kit with KA photoetch parts I am hoping to get a decent result. The real one.
