  3. Very Cool Build and Great idea!! Excellent Work! Maybe I'll build a Lonestar one day with an 8v-71 and walker beam suspension (L.O.L.)
  4. I just bought a resin one, but I would love to see how you stretched yours. Do you have more pictures?
  5. Ken that Diamond Reo is Awesome!!!
  6. Just a few from the past 17 years
  7. Kenworth suspension, could it be the Revel K100? Maybe the Aerodyne?
  8. It was the last trip that truck took too. My dad pulled it into the shop that night and it burned to the ground over night. The company had two more though. But my dad also drove a K100 with an 8v-71 and I rode many a mile in that one. Jacobus I have been trying to get a picture from the angle of your first picture. That is the best one that I have seen yet. Thanks for that post!!
  9. That's right on some, but to me the model aircraft colors look a little too florescent or something. There are a color that appear to be more of a blue, and if I remember right, that was the interior color of the one that my dad drove. How are you going to do the air intake??
  10. You're giving me the fever, I've got three of these to build! The 7400 White was the first truck that I ever rode in. I will be watching this one closely! Can't wait to see more!! Great choice by the way!
  11. Nice work!! I like the stripes!
  12. Very nice fleet look! Great looking headache racks! The mudflaps are a very nice finishing touch! Great work!
  13. Very nice work Sean! You know there is always the custom pickup option, or even the custom 2 1/2 ton custom pickup.
  14. Very nice fabrication work!
  15. This one is going to be good!! I'm wanting to see more!!
  16. Craftsmanship at its best!!!
  17. I want to see that Diamond Reo!
  18. Nice work!! I've been wanting to putting one of these together myself. I built a resin version years ago, but sold it. This was always one of my favorite cabs. Looking forward to seeing more.
  19. Very nice! The drive tires are a nice touch!
  20. The only Italeri kits that I have built were the Western Stars, and it has been a lot of years since I built one of those. Like Sean said, I fully assembled the cab first. On the bottom inside of the cab are two ridges that the floor fits in between. I cut the lower ridge off, all of the way around leaving the upper ridge so that the completed interior could be inserted from the bottom with the cab fully assembled and painted. I'm sure that others probably have a better way, but if memory serves me correctly that is how I built the the ones that I built. Hope this helps.
