Aircraft Tug

Not a 1950's design. I'd guess, 1960's to 1980's. -

So, the Squad Rod Nova, in Civvie Clothing. Very Nice! I really like the colour choice on the box art. I'll have to get one, and an aftermarket resin grille to back date it. -

I agree with you. It was a small niggle. I am grateful for the kit. -
Beautiful rendering of a very famous car. I wish AMT had tooled this up when the did the Thomas Flyer in the 1970's. Would have made a great pair of kits. Of course, nobody will ever cut steel for a kit of this car now. But, it is nice to dream.

AMT 1961 Ford Galaxie hardtop, any news?

Well, HPI Guy has built it. So we can see what is in the box this time. -
It was a good video. Since it was on "On-the-Fly" deal, it is even better. I was stoked to see the original Long Bed kits, complete Roll Bar assembly, and Complete Off Road Gas Tank in the parts trees. I just wish those parts had made it into the Long Bed kit 3 years ago. But, I am very happy to see them come up now. Nice to get the Baby Brush Guard too. I do not know what is planned for the tool moving forward, and we can speculate all day long, but I hope there is a Long Bed 4x4 and a Little Red Wagon in the future. It would be great if you could find some of the Monster Truck parts too. The Roll Bars, Heavy Duty Bumpers, and the Raised Hood would be great even if they were not really part of a kit, just extras. But, you sold me at least three of the long bed kits, and I'll eventually wind up with three Warlocks, just for kit bashing purposes. I'll be off to Fireball Models to get some Stock-ish 4x4 wheels and tires for a Long Bed 4x4 build, and some new street tires for a Short Bed Two Wheel drive shop truck. I have to say "Great Job" on these Dodge Trucks.

Al, any updates on these kits? I know you have an enthusiastic audience waiting for them. -

I'm not a big fan of the Moebius/Promo style flanged wheels. And, since Round2 went to the trouble to re-tool these wheels could we not have gotten Front Bearing Dust Caps, and a better, more realistic wheel? Nostalgia has it's place but the wheels in the early 1960's kit were just sad. Would have been nice to see better ones. -
I buy to build like many others. But, I have reconciled myself to that thought that I am 99% collector now, not a builder. They keep coming home home with me, but a kit a month, rather than the 4 or 5 a month that I used to buy.

Never can have enough Model A Fords. Go ICM! Edited to add.... How soon before we hear American Modelers noting that this kit is stock only and contains no Hot Rod parts? Of Course the Revell 29/30 Roadster/ Coupe kits should allow some kit bashing opportunities.

My guess, is that RoG figures that this 007 kit will pay for the all stock DB5 that we will see later. 50/50 chance that it will have an engine. I can imagine a business case for either a Full Detail or Curbside version. But, and all new body with all the "Special" holes from the 007 car will have to be tooled either way. I like the kit, but I'd really rather have the 50 plus year old Aurora Aston Martin kit.

Carl, I am back. Life got in the way. My Dad died in early September. I had computer Issues in Early October. Got laid off in at the End of October. I've been navigating all of these, plus health problems since then. But with much Help from Dan, I am back on the board.

NIce Crew Cab. Front end looks almost 'Too' sharp to be real, though.
