  1. Well , I'd NOT recommend California, anymore. It is not nice like it was 20 years ago. I'd leave, but I'm too Old, too Broke, and too connected to my Kids to leave now.
  2. Bakersfield California. 2 Hours east of Morro Bay. 2 Hours north of Hollywood 2 Hours south of Fresno.
  3. Would anybody have copy of the instruction sheet for this kit? I am especially looking to see how the parts differ from the newest version as referenced at the start of this thread. Thanks!
  4. Looking Great. The Headlights and Taillights are superb!
  5. Johnny. What a great little Build! That Stake bed works well on that kit. Good Show!
  6. A really well done Kit Bashing/ Scratch Building project. The various parts are well thought out, and come together well. I especially like some the small details. The Push Bumper and decals, the Wrecker Bed and the Wheels & Tires. All blend into one excellent whole. Good Show!
  7. Dang! Great Build. Those colours really set it apart. Good Show!
  8. A Home Run of a build! Your attention to detail really makes these projects Pop! Good Show!
  9. This build is looking great. I like the way you handled the 3rd brake light.
  10. David. All the discussion, and photos (to say nothing of all your work) with the gurney, explain why the newly tooled gurney, in the 59 ambulance kit is so narrow. I'd thought it looked too narrow when I watched HPI Guy's video, but now I see why it looks the way it does. Round2 wisely made it fit the kit. The work you have done on the Surf Shark is just stunning!
  11. That is just great! I like the look and the idea.
  12. Not a 1950's design. I'd guess, 1960's to 1980's.
  13. Darn! WEll, I'll see what the aftermarket comes up with.
  14. So, the Squad Rod Nova, in Civvie Clothing. Very Nice! I really like the colour choice on the box art. I'll have to get one, and an aftermarket resin grille to back date it.
  15. I agree with you. It was a small niggle. I am grateful for the kit.
  16. Beautiful rendering of a very famous car. I wish AMT had tooled this up when the did the Thomas Flyer in the 1970's. Would have made a great pair of kits. Of course, nobody will ever cut steel for a kit of this car now. But, it is nice to dream.
  17. I cannot wait to get my hands on the Nova! I've always liked the look of this body style.
  18. Well, HPI Guy has built it. So we can see what is in the box this time.
  19. I notice this topic seems to have gone dark. Probably due to a lack of information from the spokesman for the company. I fully expect that we will get more news, but I will not predict when. I do like the trailer, though.
  20. I am with Builder X on this. I want one too. Thanks, Alan
