  1. Revell did a re-tool of the TJ Taxi a few years ago. Fresh Tooling was cut. However, I don't think Atlantis got it and Ton Daniel has sworn that he won't work with Revell, so That tooling may sit unused for a long time, before it sees the light of day again. Sad, because I put off buying one of the new ones when they came out, and missed my chance to have one.
  2. I am sorry he lost it. Yours looks very good though.
  3. Here is a pic of the engine parts. The Flattie is very simple, but looks good when done. 7 parts total, counting the exhaust pipes. And the rest of the instructions. https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/revell-monogram/tom-daniels-pie-wagon/?view=roll#1
  4. Great News! I bought my first house 14 years ago. It is nice not to rent anymore. I hope you have many happy years there. I weren't in California, I'd Be over with a Loaf of French Bread and a bottle of Muscat Canelli to celebrate!
  5. I just saw that. My Dad had a few of his first albums. I listened to them for hours. They were so Funny. May he R.I.P.
  6. Very Sharp Builds, A.J. What did you use for the rear wheels/tires? They look Stout.
  7. From the Henry Ford Museum Collection. https://www.thehenryford.org/collections-and-research/digital-collections/artifact/126521 and Found this too.
  8. Thank You, Very Much, Matt. Right now, I don't own an Airbrush, so I am stuck with Rattle Cans or Brush Paints (Ugh). Good knowing that I can use Black on the interior. I'll stick with a couple of shades to give it interest.
  9. I just Checked. It looks like Patto's has nothing for you.
  10. I want to Build a couple of Bond Cars. Are there Tamiya Spray Cans that will work for the Interior and exterior colours? Thanks!
  11. Keep up the Good Work. Your builds are so sharp & clean.
  12. Yeah, they are both originally ERTL kits from the 1970's. Both kits are almost exactly the same except the Body, Interior Tub, wheels and brush guard. I like them, despite the trashing they get for the shape issues with the grille and hood.
  13. Boy, isn't that the truth! I had the Mod Rod back in the '70's. Those Ala Kart fenders made for a great Street Rod. Just like the second Box Art with the Black Car shown in Steve Milberry's post.
  14. Is that a "Longmire" Pickup Truck? I'd like to see that finished. I've got a Monogram 1980 Bronco, and a set of Best Resins custom Lic Plates for a "Longmire" inspired Bronco Build. I really Like the "Car 54" too.
  15. What wonderful building skills you possess, and such handy tips. Thank You for sharing both your skills and your knowledge.
  16. And, as is typical of Monogram T.D. kits the Flattie has very few parts, (6 or 8 )but all are heavily engraved for lots of visible surface detail. It is a nice, easy to build kit.
  17. I wish it said 1956 on the box someplace.
  18. I bought them over 20 years ago, when I had both Money and Time. I was working 12 hour Graveyard shifts, 7pm to 8am. I made lot's of O.T., and the pay was very good. I had access and permission to surf the web at work, as long as I always answered the phone! Between my wife and I we'd spend between $800.00 to $1200.00 a month on eBay items. I spent the nights haunting eBay for deals, and bought multiples of Model T Ford Kits. I still have most of them. I wish Round2 could conjure up the Parts for this kit. It is the same base kit as the '27 Police Touring car from a few years ago, so I know the base kit is still viable.
  19. What great Photos at that first link! You could Scratch Build one of these and have a fine time. Since they are not "Real" brands, but Park Vehicles, you could have some fun with them.
  20. Nice, Clean Build. It complements the Fire Truck you posted. I like the Red. Good Show.
  21. Oh, the AMT Kit! Great Work! It is such a wonderful kit. You did a Fantastic job on the kit. Those wire wheels are a bear to get together neatly. Yours look really good. The detail painting is Spot On! I have three in my stash. Good Show.
  22. Here is a start. But, they are generic. https://www.ebay.com/itm/255670471776 There seem to be a lot of 1/43 and 1/18 scale Camel Trophy decals listed on eBay, but not so many 1/24 decals. I'd start on the 'Bay, and then start searching for European Decal companies that would be most likely to offer them. Off my Head, I'd try Patto's Place in Australia first. https://www.pattosplace.com/home.html after that, I'd try looking for Decals Companies on this list from Rocketfin Hobbies. Lots of Aftermarket listings here. I keep the Rocketfin link bookmarked. https://www.rocketfin.com/model_car_links.html
  23. Round2 has been on a bit of a Dry Spell for me, lately. But, I've got the New Ford Pickups to work on, the Boss Nova Wagon, the 79 Chevy Nova, and the '64 Dodge 330 still to purchase, and new stuff coming out from Round2. So it is not a bad time by any means to be building cars. After seeing all the Interest in '57 T-Birds over on the Build threads, I may even get one of those to see what I can do with it. I really like the Fastback top. So, just because, I'm not very interested in the latest new Kit Releases, doesn't mean that Round2 is somehow failing me. It just means that I have idiosyncratic tastes, and not every kit trips my trigger.
