Just a few AMT kits coming this year !!

The Cougar should be very nice. -
I wonder if the Wagon will be Kerbside or Full Detail? My guess is it will be the Kerbside kit. Not, that there is anything wrong with that. And it should have Awesome Decals!

Cut Them Some Slack. AMT was losing money, kids were turning away from model kits, and old tools had to be re-used because there was little budget for new tooling. Little did the (Don Draper types) in charge know that 50 years later, folks would be B++++in' about their Cheap Re-purposing of old tooling that was going to be scrapped anyway into money making "Toys!" to 12 year old kids......... They saved AMT and that is what paid them. Not Realistic Depictions of fictional race cars. I'm glad that folks are so creative now and can fix what they see wrong, but dumping on these isn't fair. "Butchered" is hardly fair.

I have 2 daily drivers. 1987 Toyota Camry. Purchased new by my Grandmother in 1988 from Longo Toyota in LA, it then went to my folks 11 years ago, and came down to my last year. 110550 miles, all original. This is the exact car, when new. A/C is out and with daily temps over 100 Deg every day, It is sitting right now. My Other Daily is a 2008 Chevy Silverado 2500 4x4, crew cab. (Just like my truck. Hard to find pics of these wheels)

Wow, the box art alone will sell this kit! What a Home Run.

Ideally,in the most perfect form of Modeling a Lowered car, the Running Boards or lower door sills will touch the ground, and all 4 tires will not. Extra points are awarded if the tops of the tires protrude through the upper fenders...

Glad to see this come back. A very nice kit to build. The decals are seriously boring. Glad to see the little 'Gubbins' included, but would be nice to have seen some attempt at some Drag Race decals since it has Slicks and a Blower...... -
I have three 1980's originals in my stash, and a new one from HL, waiting to be built. This build looks excellent. Good Show.

Lazy, Carelessness. -
I remember seeing that car on the cover of some Rod magazune back then. Don't Forget Ernie Hashim of the Bakersfield Smokers, who was the first to put a front mounted blower on a Chrysler Hemi. he helped Don Garlits to be competitive on the West Coast back in the day. I got to meet Ernie later in life. He was a soft spoken guy, but would talk about his cars. He had that first engine on display in his office. Wish I'd taken a photo of it.

Sorry, Jesse. I knew you wanted them, and that was the only source I knew of.
