This one is scale 1:24, chassis is from a Monogram Cop Out! The japanese publication "Model Cars Tuning" (Neko Mook 2286) did a Toyota Celica Build Off, with 3 pages about this Team Rod Benders "Lightning Blast" AA/FC Celica LB 7000 GT funnycar.

According to my personal "The best of Tim Boyd library" SAE did the Flathead Fever articles in the April and December 2005 issue! There was also an update with some Flatheads to this (2014 builders guide to Hot Rod V8s) in the August 2014 issue. And by the way, thank you Tim Boyd for your wonderful articles about the pleasure of scale model Hot Rodding! I collected reports and clippings from different magazines (SAE, Model Cars, Street Rodder,...) since the 80ies about this subject, and when I read up, about 90% of them are written by Tim Boyd (and sometimes BT Sherwood) 😉

This was the Landshark, not on the cover of SAE, it was Car Modeler Mag Sept. 92!

This is a 1/43 kit by Andre-Marie Ruf (AMR), aprox. 20 years old!

I like this kind of stuff! There was something similar from Germany: The Danhausen World Modelcar Book! Released from the Brothers Lang and theyr famous Modelcar Shop Danhausen in Aachen, they released this from the 70ies up to 1993. The last catalouge from 93 had aprox. 15.000 modelcars on 350 pages in it, they said these where all the modelcars availlable worldwide. Because they had a shop, you could order all those cars in the book, but I know most of the stuff wasn´t availlable, even with some years waiting time. They had every obscure Modelcarmanufacturer in it, so chances to order something never ever availlable where big... Those where divided in the nicely paper part with all the normal stuff (large series manufacturer and lots of colour pictures) and the plain cheap paper part with only black/white pics and mostly text, there was all the info about smallseries manufacturer (white metal & resine, like Provence Moulage, Western Models, Alezan, BBR, Ugo Fadini,...). They also made theyr own Danhausen Modelcars (produced by Western Models and AMR) under the Minichamps label, which later was made by one of the brothers into one of the bigger manufacturers for 1/43 and 1/18 cars. I was aprox. 13/14 years old, when I found this book for the first time in the 80ies. It was like a bible to me... ? Greetings Markus

This is the 354 Hemi Model A Coupe from Paul aka "Heminutter"! It´s from the UK, built by Buckland Automotive. Heminutter is also on Instagram, you can find more pics of his car. Also some years ago there was a story on it in the british mag "Custom Car" (Dec. 2018). Greetings Markus

Bought the 32 Rat Roadster two days ago in my local hobby shop (Vienna, Austria). Still had no time to check it out, maybe later. They also got the 32 5W Coupe, Model A Roadster and Coupe again - its time to stock up the Hot Rod warehouse at home... M. Edit: made some pics, found two windshields (Duvall and the chopped one), cycle fenders, new seatbench and the old Roaster seats.
