  1. Outstanding job!!
  2. This is a Revell of Germany kit that started out as an XKSS. Using Milliput, I formed the "bump" behind the driver's seat. The headrest was made from styrene, as was the body work that separates the drivers side from the passengers side. Everything I could think of was wired up, and all the body rivets are photo etch- added on one by one. This is a truely excellent kit, but it's rather daunting to build at times. I really wish Revell would re-release it, because it's one of those kits you would build over and over again! Kind of like Cobra's and GT40's. Thanks for looking in! Hope you enjoy it.
  3. Thanx!!, I've been trying to remember where I got it from, I think I was a Testors kit....Smoothster?, I know that AMT made a Dodge Challenger called the Yankee something, that has that same style scoup, but its NOT......its way too short. I will try to find out for you for sure.
  4. Thanks a lot!! -there will be more of the Jag within a couple of days too!!
  5. Thanks!!, glad you like it!, Now that it has the hood to cover-up the engine, I like it again, and Yes, that is a D-type!! -since some of you want to see more of the Jag, I will be posting it within the next couple of days.....Really appreciate your kind words!
  6. Thank you for your comment!, Seriously I thought about the possibility of mailing the ones I don't like away, but knowing that they would arrive to someone in pieces, told me, NOT a good idea, otherwise, I really wouldn't mind sending them to you. I've been building since 1980, and besides spending 6.5 years in the military, I only have 15 that passed my own personal critique.....sad. I've built more than 90 in that time.
  7. I really need to figure out how to do that multiple "thank you" thing under one post that others do....lmao -got on the forum, and found all of these nice responses!!!! -VERY much appreciated, Dan, Michael, Mike, Dale, Tom, Joe, Keith, JC, and Marty!!!!
  8. Thanx, I appreciate you checking it out, and your comments!
  9. Thanks! -glad you liked it!
  10. This is SWEEEET!!, -work of art!!
  11. VERY cool!! -nice detailing!!
  12. I meant out of all the variations/years of the GT40......LOL
  13. Pretty decent still!!, you build nice and clean. Kinda looks more like an old Nitto kit than it does an AMT -Looks great to me!
  14. I love this kit!! you did a fantastic job on it!! one of my favorite colors as well!
  15. Thanks for the tips!!
  16. I discovered that I don't like so many colors going on in my engine bays anymore....taste change?...probably. I'm the type that if there is something I don't like about one of my builds, I usually pitch it. I don't have anybody to give them too. Thank you for the compliments, they are much appreciated! I used Duplicolor Pewter metallic over grey primer for this build.
  17. I built this kit when it first came out, I think around 2001. It was the first time I used photo etch parts on a build. I decided to "hop it up" a bit, so I ditched the floor shifter and added an E-gear paddle shifter. I scratch the Lakewood traction bars, and the electronic throttle controls. The tires are from MRC, and everything I could think of was wired up. It was posted a while a go for a short period of time, but seeing the photos of it with that way too colorful engine bay, made me take it off the forum. I just recently decided to add a hood to it to hide the engine while it sits on display, and I'm happy with it now. It almost went to scrap. Thanks for checking it out, hope you like it.

Cant see any glitches from here.....looks fantastic!! -those Race Master slicks are a real nice add-on as well! -I've never built a hot rod before, but builds like this make me want to try one!
  19. Thanks!, I thought that's what it was, but wasn't sure. is it a good idea to take ones hands off the steering wheel of a drag car, even to just pull that?! lmao
  20. NICE!!, great color combination!....nice, klean build!! Q:what do you use to attatch your flocking with....enamel paint, or white glue? it always looks so nice in all your builds.
  21. These are awesome kits!! -super fun/addicting to build, but when it comes time to flex the Fujimi bodies over the chassis.......NOT fun at all -VERY nerve wrecking!! -Fantastic haul!!
  22. EXTREMELY cool!!!, in my opinion, they can NEVER design anything better than this one!!
  23. Looks like its coming together extremely well......cant wait to see it done!!
  24. Very nice!! Q: I'm not a drag car guy, so I was wondering, what is that hook-thing coming down from the interior roof?
  25. Never eveh heard of one of these before......who makes it? Its a pretty sick looking off-road vehicle, and you made it VERY well!! you know I love that OD green color, and I woulda built it the same way you did -looks like it was suppose to be that way! -keep those beautiful models coming!!
