  1. many many thanks
  2. So, I finished this back in September, I thought I posted it here but somehow it slipped my mind. Painted duplicolor pearl white with a green flake mixed in the clear. Interior from the custom 62 catalina as well as tires, with impala steelies, wired 409 and lake pipes to make it appear a little lower.
  3. thanks, I thought I posted up the finished pics but maybe it slipped my mind
  4. has that maybach or bently stretched look
  5. Wow, I studied autocad in high school, when I graduated in '01 I was trained on Autocad14, the last time I possessed a drafting job in 2005 we were using Autocad2000. I just downloaded 2010 and have been playing around with it but wow, you have some serious cad skills there my friend.
  6. thanks, once I sprayed these colors I felt the only way to build this one was old school
  7. got my ride height set this morning, maybe a hair higher in the back
  8. back glass is fine but front doesn't line up properly
  9. Started to fit the impala interior, I need to trim about 3/32" from the package tray. Hopefully modelhaus offers glass for this one
  10. So, I signed up for one online on August 9th, my card was charged on September 3rd, I was just wondering when I could expect my first issue in the mail? Phil
  11. its duplicolor brand metalcast silver basecoat, for the line of annodized paints
  12. I remembered that I put it up due to the interior and chassis was missing pieces, but I recently found my box of spare impala parts from around 3-5 impalas so I should be able to move forward
  13. thats cause I love the flake in a can from duplicolor
  14. this is what I was doing saturday evening Started this one close to 3 years ago. Picked up some modelhaus tires in toledo, gonna run the T110's all around, I used a 64 impala interior and chassis to update this old girl. I'm thinking a slight forward rake with some bellflower style exhaust pipes. added xtra flake then I moved on to this, something else I've been toying around with for a year or so. Removed the belly pans in favor of custom built ones. laying frame rims are 16", 21" tall with tires Plan was originally for a lowrider with scratch built pumps and batteries. I kinda like these rims so I might change it up to air bags. Gonna build a four link rear. If I go hydraulics I will leave the rear end adjustable.
  15. nice wip, I started to paint a 66 gta like that and lost interest, and most of the kit
  16. I felt the need to add extra flakes to the roof.
  17. killer paint
  18. Started this one close to 3 years ago, and as of 3:00 this morning I got the bug to pull off the shelf. Picked up some modelhaus tires in toledo but can't decide which to use. T110 in the front and T170 in the rear. I used a 64 impala interior and chassis to update this old girl. I'm thinking a slight forward rake with some bellflower style exhaust pipes
  19. one final dusting and they get packed up for the trip Friday morning, see you all there
  20. thank you for the kind words. My skills are still evolving so for now I build just to build with no thoughts of competition in mind.
  21. finished this one just in time for the show next weekend, just needs some good outdoor shots, I give you "Hollywood Player"
  22. finished this one just in time for the show next weekend, I give you "Hollywood Player"
  23. tell me about it. I know I met some people last year, but just look for this ugly mug and you'll find me
  24. testors wet look clear thanks man, honestly the roof has the best shine. I'm no too thrilled with the testors clear, but its all I had on hand, for the most part its even but a few spots I was nervous about burning through.
