  1. You've done alot of work so far and I really admire your skills! Color ideas or other 'add on' ideas yet? Good luck and keep us posted. Bruce
  2. Alot of good advice being given here. The only thing that I can add is..."It's alot easier to sign a check on the back than the front!" Just my 2 cents... Bruce in Fargo
  3. Plans? Individual builds, bashing, for parts or sit on the shelf 'til inspiration hits you? Bruce
  4. I would not sell for less than $300. Nice work, no, great work on everything!! May I ask why you are parting ways with something this cherished piece? Bruce in Fargo
  5. I saw, somewhere (?), mixing baking soda and water into a paste & applying to the car body. After it thouroghly dries it can then be painted. It looked quite real. Maybe on BMC is where I saw this? Bruce in Fargo
  6. MrBiggs, I can almost smell the "old magazine" smell. Thanks for jarring the memory bank and especially thanks for sharing. I'll bet you dad is proud that you are taking good care of his memories! Take care...... Bruce from Fargo
  7. Chris and R.O. , thank you for the address' and help with the LHS's . It's very much appreciated! The added (thanx to Dave) opinion for SMS makes it a for sure stop for me. "Islander" the Wild are playing the Wings. Still not 100% sure where our seats are. They are season tix of an Ins. Co. and from what I've been told they are good seats. My first ever puck game. So...... Can't wait for 2/21 and 2/22! Thanx again everyone!!! Bruce
  8. God bless you Clay! HE will be watching over you and your family. Please take care of yourself and come home soon AND safely. Bruce ps....GOD loves the Marine Corp!!
  9. Well, I think their terrible TERRIBLY GOOD! Nice work!! Bruce
  10. We are going down the weekend of Feb 21 for a wild game. Staying somewhere around the M. of A. Does anyone know of any good shops for kits, supplies, paints etc. Does the Mall itself have anything like this? T.I.A. Bruce
  11. Nice haul! You can pick your nose. You can pick your friends. You CAN'T pick your family. Happy holidays!!
  12. Has he thought about building again? Nice work and thanx for sharing!! Bruce in Fargo
  13. Seriously, check out North Dakota. Alot of jobs, good paying jobs. The pay may not be as good (on papaer) as other locations may sound, BUT, the cost of living is well below the nat avg. The weather is the same as where you live now. The people are fantastic. We are always well in the top 5 for health and safety. Not as nice as Oregons winters but alot less damp weather. Whatever you do, best of luck! From what you have done with your living arrangements I can only say that you have a "good head on your shoulders!" Some employer is going to be lucky to get you. Bruce in Fargo
  14. Neat idea! Santa's everyday ride?
  15. Great job to composer!! Is it you?
  16. A great Christmas Eve supper (prime rib, mmmmmmm!) with my family. Then the joy of watching the kids tear through ( carefully wrapped, which took "hours" ) their presents in seconds. It was great!! Merry Christmas to all!!!
  17. Same to you Miguel! I sure would love to trade our weather for your weather. We have had over 20" of new snow in the last 10 days. My snowblower, shovel, wheel barrow, fire place, wife and me have been getting one heck of a work out! UFFDA as my Norwegian heritage tells me to say!! Bruce in Fargo, ND
  18. Talented and busy!
  19. Check your listing for TLC. This show will definetly bring a smile to your face. The work these people go to on their houses is nothing short of amazing. They've added additional breaker boxes and outlets in the yard, extra exterior house and outlets on the roof. I still cannot decide if I want one of these people for my neighbor or not..... But check this show out! Bruce
  20. I've always been scared to touch one in fear of "getting shocked?" Now someone tells me!
  21. I have a picture, that was take this last Friday, of one of the "cuts" on our branch line. It is similar in snow depth to this. Albeit not near as long. I'll try to scan and post it as soon as I can get it developed. You need something with ski's on it Harry!
  22. We had five more inches of popcorn fart dry snow last night. Add that to the 10 last weekend and some smaller snows before tht. Wind out of the north at 20mph, actual temp is -9*. That will also be our high temp for Sunday. -20* for Monday morning. Add the wind to all these temps and it feels like over -35* plus colder. This for all the way through Christmas. Then our summers are 90* and above, lots of humidty, storms and mosquitos....I see why Lewis and Clark said this are was uninhabitabe when they made their expedition. Why do I live here????? I don't know. Sitting by our fireplace looking out the picture window from our back living room, it is actually pretty out there. Sounds strange doesn't it?! Bruce in Fargo
  23. S-A-W-E-E-E-E-E-E-T !!! Thanx for sharing!! Bruce
  24. You do not even have to buy any. If you go to a place that repairs/replaces screens, ask them, and they will give you some small pieces, different colors too. Bruce
  25. That is frigging gross! At best, very poor taste by that company. I did not stick around long enough to do any reading (too grossed out) so I hope this site is a joke!
