  1. ooooooooooo...................I would love to get my hands on that Black Pantera GTS. never, ever saw that one on a shelf for sale. I'd buy two!
  2. I'm plum krazy about it. nice, clean build.
  3. brutal.......looks like a killer street machine.
  4. Sorry.....I just examined that model closely...nothing to identify it. I remember the instructions were in Japanese, so that was a struggle. the front end had a rack & pinion set up that at the time I built this thing I thought was pretty cool. and the interior has very nice detail as well.
  5. cool..........that is a beautiful bodystyle. your build came out awesome.
  6. I think it's terrific....... but I love B body mopars anyway. on a previous thread you mentioned this model came in White. That would make it a White Lightning.....a chase type model from that particular manufacturer (Polar Lights/ Playing Mantis). I would have loved to have it.
  7. I have a GTS with poseable steering and motorized chassis... however the doors open, and the rims are pretty cool. picked it up in a bin of death @ Dons Model & Hobby in Greeley Colorado probably twenty five years ago. I would love a better detailed, DeTomaso Pantera kit in 1/25 scale.
  8. thats how we do it. And Beef. it's what's on my grill.
  9. it's beautiful! calves are running around in the green grass, newborn colts are kicking around the pasture's, and it is a balmy 55 degrees (F), with a big, bright clear sky.
  10. the tires and rims in 1/24 scale are in the Monogram Shelby Cobra 427 S/C kit. here they are on my GT350, and they went right on. no problem.
  11. great start. this is a terrific model kit. one of my favorites.......and I do not really build alot of Corvettes. the last one I built I did the same thing with the dashboard. drilled out all the gauges. this interior really details up nicely.
  12. alas..it is snowing in Montana. the torino & the mustang get to stay under the covers for a few more weeks.
  13. I'm biased....they are both great builds. however, I have a grabber yellow torino gt sitting in the garage so.........
  14. because I'm immortal and will live long enough to build them all! years ago I would stumble upon model kits for sale dirt cheap. if they were musclecars, or decent 3 n 1 kits I would buy 'em up. next thing you know, your filling up big boxes and stuffing them in the rafters. quite honestly, after four decades the numbers just add up.
  15. what make's clear coat yellow like that? TIME. after a few years, cheaper clear coats and even some of the more expensive brands tend to yellow out. with the exception I've found, of Tamiya clear.
  16. I wonder if they would let me find out if that is a true and accurate reading. because I don't believe it. bring it into my neighborhood and let me see.
  17. threads like this make me smile. thank god I live in Montana. I lived in a state that required emission testing on vehicles. what a scam. the best part was reading about all the epic failures due to the poorly educated help. like putting the rollers underneath the rear tires of a front wheel drive car, or vice versa- the knuckleheads would put the rollers under the front tires of a rear wheel drive car. when the policy was first instituted, the accidents were pretty much a daily event.
  18. They look great! I purchased a few of the GMP tire kits years ago. still waiting to put a set of Chevy Rally wheels on an Ertl 1/18 scale '67 Corvette. How easy/ or difficult are these swaps to perform?
  19. what a coincidence.......I used to get roughed up, handcuffed and thrown into the back of US cop cars. what a small world. Welcome to a great site.
  20. Hot Wheels makes one in 1/64 scale. and it cost less than a buck.
  21. stunning work. looks pretty accurate to me. I always look for the quarter panel scoops. (and on accurate cars, like yours, the lack there-of.) your BOSS 302 Mustang is top shelf work.
  22. those colors look appropriate for the seventies. that Gremlin looks great.
  23. wow..very clean and a beautiful build. terrific color combination.
  24. please, finish this one. its pretty cool. it looks like my good friends 1:1 - A 1931 Chevy:
