I've always wanted to build this kit.. and the 39 Coupe counterpart... so with the announcement of this release, and the decals included in this issue, it was a nobrainer. Paint is Tamiya Champagne Gold and Testors Extreme Rootbeer. All then cleared with Tamiya Gloss Clear. As always, thanks for looking... On to the next...

You're killing it

Got the decals added to the barrels. I chose to put them on top instead of the side... They settled quite nicely Then got the bits added to the body And that is where we stand until everything is dry again... The next update will be the end of the road for this one. Stay tuned...

It's cuz I'm a gluten for punishment... The hardest part for me is figuring out the color(s)... The most exciting part is painting the body... Since everything I do paint wise is outside, I tend to paint a lot and then play catch up as the year progresses.

Thanks John! The color chart with come in very handy, whether it's this build or another. And those two builds are sweet. That Tamiya really pulls off that look pretty convincingly. Those are pretty slick, ain't they...
