  1. It started life as a AMT p/u that I had made it as a beater dump truck but the dump bed did not look right so I made it into a road tractor, did have the original flathead but recently found the optional FE motor and tried to make it look like a late 50s motor. Still need to find headlight parts and some exhaust manifolds.
  2. I built one about 10 years ago and never cared much for the custom grille and hood inserts so is there any way to get stock parts.
  3. Interior
  4. Just a old kitchen table in the basement
  5. I am glad some kits are being reissued so I can afford to build one,I will not pay much more then 25 dollars for a kit and I have bought some parts off ebay for kits that are not in production since I did not want to wait for possibly years to find parts cheaper. I am lucky to have a new hobby shop that opened up this year that I can get parts so I do not buy much parts off ebay now.
  6. Found a 68/9 Torino interior tub to cut up and will post pics when it starts looking like something.
  7. Its also going to get more of a interior when I can find a 67/68 mustang interior tub to cut up.
  8. Its starting to look like a car and since i do not have the complete motor it came with I have a 2 4 bbl 351-C that might be going in.
  9. I have a later version that was molded in black that I need to finish,I got it for parts for the one I built but after finding a new chassis I decided to save the other one. I started to assemble it with a 427 SOHC Ford motor but I need it for a gasser mustang project so I think it will get a blown hemi or the dual quad 401 nailhead.
  10. I decided it would look better as a 50s style hotrod and instead of the Pontiac motor made to look like a Chevy it got a Desoto hemi, this kit is based of the early 60s coupe/convertible kit and I used the convertible parts on them.
  11. I took a DM stock 40 body and stuck it on the hotrod chassis,I did not like what they done to the hotrod body so instead of changing it I stock the stock body since I think they are great the way they came. I was hoping to get it as low as it was as the hotrod but found out they modified the hotrod interior so the frame would sit higher in the body but it looks good to me.
  12. I have never seen one.
  13. The front suspension I put on it is too wide so I found another axle that is a little narrower that will be going on but I need to redo the front of the frame first,I can not stand the front tires to stick outside the fenders.
  14. This is my first van build since the 70s.
  15. I got the later issue of Ohio George's Mustang from a friend back in the early 80s that was a mess,I started to put it back togather but never finished it so its time. It looks like I will have to reconstruct the front of the frame since my work 30 years ago is not that great and thinking about building it as a 70s street freak, this is going to be a as the glue and paint dry on other projects project.
  16. This is the MPC spirit of 57 gasser I built back in 78,something bad must have happened to the chassis during a repaint back in the early 80s so all I found years later was the body and the motor and that rear suspension and tires were on another project. Before I got a computer I was going to stick the body on a regular chassis but once I found ebay I was able to come up with a complete new chassis so it went back togather as a gasser.
  17. I built one about 10 years ago and it was a decent kit if my memory is correct.
  18. Hi my name is Jeff and I am from the Dayton Ohio area,I have been building for over 40 years and mainly 1/24 or 1/25 and have a couple 1/32 and some 1/8 that my uncle built back in the mid 60s.
