It started out with a deluxe coupe body and the sedan fenders with the 39 grille and hood, motor is a Y block from a AMT 56 kit hooked to the original 40 trans like what was done back in the 50s. Its going to look like someone pulled the flathead back in 56 and installed a new 56 motor,no chrome on the motor and will be a stock 56 motor. I found a Revell 40 standard glue bomb to get the correct standard hubcaps.

Got some Testors Chrysler blue paint. -
My body irked me today,as soon as I walked outside this morning my bones were telling me the weather was going to be changing and they were hurting bad. I knew a headliner replacement job was going to be at work but not a lifted 4x4 so after a couple trips up in it I took a couple pain pills as I did not want it to turn me into a big grump which it did right as I was finishing it. I was in a major car wreck over 35 years ago and the damage that happened to me is starting to make more noise the older I get so maybe time to get a office job.

2wd chassis is glued togather and need to make mounts for the slant six, found a source for the rims and small hubcaps which will be ordered soon. Anybody know what color the six cylinder motors were painted in the late 70s. -
I do not remember seeing those caps on a 73 and up trucks,I do remember seeing them on 67 to 72s and some vans so I need to do some research in old dealer literature photos, now the chrome Plymouth caps they sell I remember on some 70s Dodge trucks so I will be grabbing a set of them for my same era Dodge truck project. I am going to google 78 Chevy p/u and see what I can find.

No extra windshied but only the custom parts from the kit. -
I think I am going to drop it in the rear a little and having a hard time getting a correct hood, the one i got off ebay is wrong and the one I got doing some trading is better but I think its for the Revel version and I need the tail lights. I know where I can get them if I want to spend some money which might just happen tonight.
