Hello all, a couple of weeks ago I was at a swap meet and was lucky enough to pick up a "Twister Vega" and want to build a Grumpy vega so tomorrow I'll be ordering the slixxs decals and was wondering what size motor did he run ? small block or big block, also what type of valve covers did he use, Will also be getting the comp resin dual quad tunnel ram for it also, Thank you for all your help, Rick '

  6. What in the wide, wide world of sports happen ? Please DON'T give up now, get some thin wire and add pins to it, it was in pieces when you bought it, now just a couple of more pieces to add to it now.

  9. Hi Ashleigh, What I do at times like these is I make copies of the decal sheet itself and cut those out then tape them to the model and lightly draw pencil marks where the diffrent colors go, it helps me on difficult paint schemes. hope this helps a little, Rick

  12. Hello all, I'm in the middle of building "Jungle Jim red monza funny car" and I just de-cromed the rims and just got the correct super charger in the mail today so I was wondering what color should I paint the rim's and the super charger? Thank you for taking the time to answer, Rick
  13. I've had luck using a warm damp cloth, you think that's bad, have you seen Revell Mad funny car, that's nothing but 4 big decals, I've got 5 unopened kits hoping I can get it right. Good luck and hope to see pitchers soon, Rick

  15. John, That turned out super, please tell us more about the kit, is it the Revell funny car? also what Blue did you use? I too have a Revell Jungle Jim camaro to build but the roof line looks to flat. Good luck on your next project. Rick

Looking good there John, I just picked up a "Color me gone" kit also the other weekend and decals just to do Hemi Honker so I'm following closely to your build, you and Michael say the kit tires are too small, where did you get the replacement tires? Hey Jason and David, Thank you for showing interest in this build, Jason I went with a flat brass in the Testors little bottle it has a little glitter in it and should look good when I paint it, I'm off this week from work so I should have plenty of time to finish this, David I hope I can post a few picture's of this but when it comes to posting pictures I'm all thumbs, sad to say but I'll try.   18. Hi Dan, I just dug out my Slixxs replacment decals for that kit and they recommend Majik blue pearl "PBC3701" by black gold. So hope that will help you some, good luck and hope to see that here someday, Rick

Hello all, Halloween is almost here and I always build a Halloween model around this time and while in Michales this weekend I saw the perfect accessory for the Boot Hill express, a cemetery gate thats the right scale the for it, so I would like to know what would be the colors for it. The re release dose not tell me what colors I should use. Thank you, and if possable please post pitchers of yours. Again Thank you, Rick

Thank you Muncie and Mooneyzs, Thats the one and already back in my favorites, Steve last year I bought someone 1/16 collection and it came with both Snowmans decals one for the red car and one for the blue car and they look real nice, as nice looking as Slixx's but I have yet to use them so..... Thanks iBorg, that was quick, yea your right it was Whoopie Kat decals, already in "Favorites" and thanks for the Chuck Boermer site had not seen that one, looks like he has Cha Cha Bountry Huntress decals that would look nice in big scale, How would I go about getting ahold of him?
