  1. Hello all, my computer went kaput a couple of weeks ago and I lost all of my resources to people who made 1/16 decals, I think one was called "Kooky cat" decals and another was one called "Wild Stang" I think? Wild Stang had his home number and made some good looking decals also kooky kat had some diffrent ones like Don garlits funny car and wild 70s funny cars. Thanks and hope to hear from some one who can help. Thanks, Rick
  2. Looking good there John, How did you cut out the window's? I just got the 1/16 Mustang at a swap meet a couple weeks ago and never did a resein car before, So I'll be a watching and a learning. also what will you be useing for the windshield? Thanks, Rick
  3. Best thing to do is call in and ask, I placed an order on Thursday and she was real nice to talk to, or you could look at some generic decals and make it your own funny car, good luck on your Pinto. Rick

  6. Hey Jeremy, I've heard of some people useing resin solder the same thickness as you want your cage, then use it to form what ever the shape you want for the roll cage then transer that to the plastic tubeing you will be useing for the rollcage. I'll soon will be building the Revell LAPD Pro Stock Camaro and if you look closley at the picture you will notice that it has Funny car type exhaust and not the headers that come with the kit, so I too will be useing the soider trick also to form the exhaust. And asking questions here is a hit and miss on all sites so dont get discourage, good luck on your project.
  7. David, That turned out great, as a motor head such as myself it's good to see how these cars were when they first came off the dealer's floor, keep them coming, Rick
  8. A true sleeper, no one would ever expected
  9. Hey Steve, that turmed out super, gotta love that Tamiya paint looks a mile deep. What gloss did you use? Last year I found the MPC Auto Scope Barracuda pro street kit which I think is the same kit as the old Motown Missile with just different rims, also staurday I picked up another Sox and Martin cuda kit that I plan to use the chassis and motor for my motown missile car. Also if you can find the June 2016 Scale Auto issue they have a good article on upgrading the Revell Sox and Martin Cuda kit. Good luck on your Pro Stock kits, Also Ron is right about the Hot Rod magazine article, good reading. Rick

  22. Thanks, yes Andy its the Don Garlits Dragster, I first used Tamiya TS-29 Simi Gl. Blk. and if dryed flat, then tryed Krylon supermaxx all in one and turned out OK, I might leave it, build it, and move on to the next one. I guess I need to use Tamiya TS-14 for my Gl.
