  1. And in styrene it would work great with that new Losi Micro Crawler too
  2. I'd buy it in plastic too!
  3. Nah, it's a Chevy, they broke off years ago
  4. Yup, as did the 348" V-8 in the AMT '58 Impala kit.
  5. Nice, looks like it belongs on the track stalking BMWs, not burning the weeds in some fairground
  6. Looking good, love the color!!
  7. I keep thinking model for some reason, so I'm going with that!
  8. Is this going to a rat or period show style rod?
  9. I remember that D.A.R.E. car in an old issue of S.A.E. from yeeeeaaars ago!
  10. Looks good so far, can't wait to see it done!
  11. I remember that article, IIRC it was a St. Regis powered by a built 360, I just can't rmember if it was Popular Hot Rodding or Car Craft (I'm thinking Pop Rod.)
  12. I was tinkering with a couple, one had the twin cam Hemi/4 speed (as well as the chassis) from the '70 Cornet kit and rolling stock from the AMT Viper GTS, the other was the same basic set up but used the 6 speed from the Viper and modified the cop car rims to fit the Viper tires.
  13. That looks reall good! I kinda dig these old show rods, hope that one gets reissued at some point after looking at your pics!
  14. Yup, looks like a Pre-War Mercedes to me too. SHould make a neat street rod considering the shape it's in
  15. Very different, I'm liking it!
  16. Real, the top looks to thin and the gas door doesn't seem to fit "right".
  17. Targa, the convertable just doesn't seem right on that car.
  18. The only one I've seen of those vans that came with the kit was the early 70's issue like the Fire Van that could be built as an ambulance, passenger van, cargo van, or fire chief's van.
  19. Get rid of the flames and swap the wheels, that would look like a concept car!
  20. If you're asking about the "Fun in a Box" models Ed, they're 1/32 scale.
  21. Shouldn't be much difference in the NASCAR Hudson, didn't they just add paint to a street car at that point?
  22. Whoa, as long as the extended cab long bed is when lowered, that crew cab must look a couple miles long
  23. Did you look at them at the show Lownslow, hard to believe that they're so tiny and work that well?
  24. Heh, Really? Haven't seen him since our last comp when he suggested not throwing my comp rig into the lake........I'm wondering if that was sound advice BTW, it was good to meet you Gregg!
