Ok guys here you go..Pics!! Let me apologize ahead of time for the crappyness of the pics..I was in a rush to take em.. the new ardun head..the shape is much better compaired to the old stuff..all they need is a good dechroming the new wheels and the ardun heads the other new tree of parts..ardun intake, headers, and new lowered suspension parts.. a very cool decal sheet and the whole shebang....there are alot of parts in this one..I really will enjoy building it eventually and lastly we have the box art. well thats it for the quickie review..I know I sound weird but i'm more excited about this than the 32 sedan...maybe cause we all knew what it was going to have beforehand. Revells New 50 Ford Truck
Gray Smith replied to Gray Smith's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
yes its a 2 in 1, there are the stock ford caps on white walls, another cap for the white walls, and a new set of 5 spokers for new tires, they look good too. Only one engine option that I can tell(ardun), looks like a new suspension has been tooled up as well... I'll get more info tonight.. Gray -
"best Resin Is Not Best, But Worst!
Gray Smith replied to fury3's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
i'll add my gripe in as well...I ordered almost 2 years ago myself, and sure enough no parts..I got emails and promises but nada. I heard they were up and running again and sent Mark and email a month or so ago and he said he'd have em out to me within a week with confirmation(even said he'd change the order for some different parts since I no longer needed what I originally ordered) 4 nice emails and one nasty email later..still nothing. Which sucks because they really have some cool stuff, and really nice prices. Gray -
Hey guys..just a quick message here...I got mine in today with my 32 Sedans...cracked open the box and sure enough, they tooled up what looks like a new Ardun head set-up, intake and proper headers. I compared it to the pic of the old deal in Tim Boyd's article in another mag and the new parts look great! I plan to get some pics later tonight and I hope to provide a full review over the weekend. Rob, Great job on a great choice of subject matter!! Lover the colors and the detail....one of these days I might have to try and find one of these... Thanks for posting! Gray -
awesome detail!, very well done build man..I love it. I think I speak for many in that we all have built this kit at some point in our lives(i've built 2 or 3 and I've got one still in the box to finish) Your builds are always inspiring.. Gray

Show Your T's
Gray Smith replied to Terry Jessee's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Great T's by all!, but out of them all, Andy's carbon fiber monster, and JB's track roadster stand out as my favs. I've got one in the works as a unibody/monocoque T with some Potvin Chevy running gear..its early in progress, one of these days i'll get around to it. Gray -
Looks good Jeffrey, I was going to ask what you did to get the phantom vickie windshield to fit, but I saw in your photki. Excellent work though..great motor detail. I've got one of these i'm working on myself, fun kit to build. Gray

What'd You Get For Christmas????
Gray Smith replied to Mike's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
The main thing I got was time off from both jobs....I work 80 hours right now so I don't see my wife and daughter much..i've gotten 4 days from both(back at job one now unfortunately) I think that was the best thing because it was needed....gave me time to see my wife and daughter for a few days and get some building done on a 32 Ford quickie project. I also got money from my Dad and Father-in-law(also much needed for bills). The main attention this year was my little girl and her toys and stuff for my wife. I did get a car wash set, and a camo bath robe(cool!). As soon as the revell 32 sedan hits i'm ordering 2 along with some other stuff for myself for christmas(wife knows to just tell me to get what I want since i'm a picky model builder and not much to choose from in this town nowadays). I think she is real.....no plastic there, oh you meant the car? sorry I didn't see that on my first pass of the pic, I think the car has more plastic than her..lol Gray

Revell '32 Ford Sedan
Gray Smith replied to Lyle Willits's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
exact same tooling as the coupe, roadster, and speedwagon, It will include the same chrome tree from the coupe..so along with the cool flattie and kelsey hays wheels....you still get the venerable 5.0 sbf and the torque thrusts. I'm upping my allotment from 2 to 4..whenever I get some hobby money Gray -

57 Chevy Z06 Pickup
Gray Smith replied to Raul_Perez's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Looks great Raul, very well integrated into the truck, and very easy to do in 1:1 i'd think....keep up the great work on all your builds.. Gray -
Wow, what a bunch of ######!....lol just kidding, I wonder too, like ratrod, how does one build so many nice cars in one year..I have trouble just finishing one mostly box stock 911 kit! Dunno how you do it, but keep on keeping on...you build some truly great models. I really dig the nova wagon and the colors used on it Gray

I love this car..I saw it way back when and liked it then. Excellent build, it has just the right look that was proper for when it was built, and even more so for now.. Please post more of these if you have em. Gray
