Mike, this Mustang looks great! I think you got just the right mix of new and retro...the TE37s also match the car very well.. Good to see you here too! Gray

Ok that does it....now I am going to have to buy one of these....all it took was the Torque Thrusts...and the pearl white paint.. Great build man..great build.. Gray

Hey guys...Revell's new 30 Ford Woody looks like its in stock in a few places...I'm considering getting one and I just want to know what comes with it? I know the new version has new wheels and a Deuce grill shell, but whats there from previous versions? Can anyone scan a copy of a older issues instruction sheet? Lastly, some pics I've seen of the 31 Woody released some years back looks like it shares alot with the 31 Model A sedan(which is similar to the 29 Model A truck), is the 31 and 30 Woody the same kit? and is it on par with the other "A" variants offered by revell? Thanks in advance for any info guys! Gray

I've read so many articles by Bill, I can't even begin to tell what i've learned...he has been a true asset to the hobby and its good to know hes still going strong...while I don't do/know much in the way of 50's cars I can recognize excellent building when I see it... also the guitar, amp, and case look quite good too(and cool since my brother has a very similar combo)..keep up the great work Bill! Gray

Wow!, I used to have this kit, and could never get started on it...mostly because I knew I couldn't do it justice like you have..great work on the details, paint, and the doors!! Gray

Great looking cars man, I esp. like the Camo Bud car...keep up the great work!

Looking good Lyle, excellent work..

Nice work man!, I'm digging the paint combos, esp since I was planning a similar paint scheme for my "Dohc Deuce" 32 Ford. I think your use of the flame pattern grill is the best i've ever seen! very realistic, and some great detailing on the motor and interior....I'm ready to see some finished shots of this! Gray

Hmm this one I think will be a stunner Marc, the kranze wheels look just right in the fenders on this one. I have visions of a hemi sitting in that engine bay with a proper efi set-up...might I be close on that? Look forward to more updates. Gray

def. my favorite Merc build yet....love the attitude it has, and yeah where did those wide whites come from? Gray

WOW Ismael, that looks GOOD...I really like the job you are doing on this kit, i'm actively waiting for more!

Sgt Ratus is looking good Paul...I like aircraft/army themed vehicles alot...this one certainly looks like its seen the life too.. the only addition I could see to the bed or crate would be some old ammo boxes and maybe a well used m16 and or 1911 on the seat inside...I think someone resin casts some stuff like that in 1/24/25th scale... if not then I think you might even be able to find them in plastic in the right scale... then if you really wanted to go off the deep end....I think there is a 1/24th Willys army jeep availible with a .50 cal on the back.....you could mount that in the bed(hmm that gives me an idea.....) Cool stuff man...

Gray Smith replied to Marc @ MPC Motorsports's topic in WIP: Model Cars
'bout time you made a shop truck...but If I remember wasn't the original mpc motorsports truck was going to be a 72 truck? thats ok though..I like Elky's alot more. Green will be a nice color for this too..it will give it a slightly dressy look for sure. will this one be curbside or will there be s big block stuffed under that hood? Gray -
the clear lenses look alot better Marc, I figured you'd do the lights properly.. great work and this ones shaping up to be a great build. Gray

I've got a bunch that I started this year and last, but the ones I really wanted to get done this year were.. my 68 Camaro Track Beast - overcomplicationitis hit it The Dohc Deuce 32 Ford - Modelers ADD hit it..plus I'm waiting for the money to buy some detail parts... My Tamiya Ferrari Modena Challenge Stradale - an ill fitting/inaccurate resin trans kit and the desire to make it all correct, yet no time nor not enough ability to make it correct yet. My Ferrari Daytona Speciale - a custom 356 Daytona mild racer - Modelers ADD and hitting a wall trying to come up with an induction set-up that fits under the close quarters of the hood Revell 29 Ford pickup - was going to be a rat rod as built by a guy who has built imports...turbo/efi banger with old school jdm 15" rims over a heavily channeled and z-d frame...now currently being re-thought into a Jarius Rod style creation more befitting of the kit.. Thats all I can think of at the moment.... maybe, i'll these done sometime next year... Gray

Dude..the Warthog is just sick! both are awesome builds...great idea with the warhammer head...back when I worked at a hobby shop that sold that stuff I saw some really cool items that could be used elsewhere...I guess I'm not the only one who thought that. I'm really looking forward to seeing more! Gray
-
Hmm, you know last night I came up with some ideas for one of these jarius styled builds.....and I didn't know if I should...but after seeing this mock-up I know I've gotta go on with it. This is way COOL!! Love the zr-1 motor, and cool idea in the back with the 49 ford grill... looking forward to more on this...and the coupe! Gray
-
hmm now thats not a bad idea.....might have to try that....

Excellent build as usual Ajay, I will always love the ole 'eight-six'.. I spent many hours watching Initial D back when it first came out which helped in my fondness for these cars. Keep up the great work on your next build... Gray
