  1. Such a shame I cant get your paints over here in the UK, Ive heard nothing but good stuff about your paints.
  2. Funny quite a few posts back I put a valid question about the contents of this kit .....and its been completely lost, any chance we can move on and get back to talking about the kit.
  3. Would it be cheeky to ask for somebody with this kit in hand to take a few shots, including the decal sheet. I'd like to see whats in the box before I get one shipped over here. thankyou in advance.
  4. Chuck this is just awesome mate.
  5. So I need to keep an eye out for the slightly older issue If I can find one over here. Thanks guys
  6. Thanks Gene and Andy I totally agree, its a very basic old tech kit, but I just like the way it looks.
  7. Thanks Anthony thats the re-issue I was thinking off, I wonder if the latest issue does have those parts in ?.
  8. Funny I was thinking the same, now I know the Ford C900 Tractor unit hasnt been available for a while now, but Im sure I remember someone mentioning that the parts for the tractor unit are in the latest issue of the C600 Stake truck ...is that correct or would I still have to look out for the C900 kit.
  9. Got these two yesterday, at a bargain price they are built but not painted, but i just love the original 1971 box art.
  10. Well as promised, here is an updated photo with the narrow whitelines from Vinyl Nation, instead of the huge whitewalls i had on the Mustang before....looks a whole lot better I think
  11. I was displaying at a truck model show this weekend and had my 1st look at one of these pickups, I had to do a double take as I was shocked top see one in the UK....all I can say is its a stunning kit, even down to the box and instructions, here are a few pics.
  12. I built this one last year, its an original 60s tool, but to be honest I thought it was a great kit, obviously not on par with modern tooling but as good as it gets for 50 years old. I also have the newest reissue with the Fred Lorenzen stock car option.
  13. A couple of work mates commented that this looked real....ish !, Im not convinced the grass is a giveaway !
  14. Harry this is just amazing, total craftmanship, I absolutely love it and being an English gent myself I like how you even have the period correct Blackpool, Lancashire number plates. Fantastic work sir ......
  15. Id love to see this Capri re-released, Im doubtful it will ever happen but you never know, I had that exact kit about 10 years ago, but like a fool I sold it
  16. Great job Al, now that is a very satisfying resto
  17. Stunning as always Tulio, you are the master of 57 Fords my man !
  18. Superb review Tim as always, I really enjoy your in depth look at these new kits. This kit will definitely be on my shopping list, along with the Moebius Ford trucks
  19. Thanks for all the kind comments everyone, and the concerns on the wide whites ...they are gone ! Lol Ill post an update photo when i receive the narrow whitelines next week.
  20. Definitely a gap in the market there Id say. Just checked the spares box and it looks like the only spare mirrors I have are some huge west coast style disco van ones.........hmm might be an interesting look on a Mustang Ive obviously built far too many mirrorless AMT kits, I'm of to hunt for some online suppliers.
  21. Thanks Im glad too, they were a bit OTT !, I have a new set of thin whitelines on the way from Vinyl Nation, they should hopefully look a lot better
  22. Stunning build Ray, this is a great kit I have one in the pile to do someday. Love the detail work you have done.
  23. I like that Stray Lol !! Thanks mate It did get me out of the slump, back to the Peterbilt wrecker build now.
  24. Very true Harry, but it would have defeated my object of a slumpbuster if I started detailing.....because I wouldnt know when to stop ! Interesting point though is there an aftermarket supplier for various mirrors etc ?
  25. Ok ditched the wide whitewalls for now and back on standard tires....Im on the hunt for some narrow whitewall decals ....
