  1. All this sweetness . . . oh, I gotta go build one!

    Bad Actor

Nice. Looks like the front clip missed a couple of passes of the paint gun, but not bad at all, Jim.
  3. Nice.
  4. Excellent!
  5. Sinisterly cool! Great job! And, that's a furrin car, ain't it?!
  6. Yep. I'd lose the molded marshmallow look.
  7. And the next day he had them on Ebay.
  8. LOVE Camaros! Nice build . . . now get busy on posting some new ones! And, welcome to the forum.
  9. Try soaking it with water and then placing it in the freezer. If you can get some water into the glued joint, the expansion action of freezing will usually separate the parts.

    Good work!!!!
  11. Jonathan also has Aoshima tighty-whiteys.
  12. One of the most famous examples was Eldon Titus. He was a prolific modeler as a teenager. A couple of years younger than Eldon, I admired his fantastic models and futuristic styling ideas. He built amazing customs. One of his killer builds was a model he called "Voodoo Spider." Many, many years later he constructed a 1:1 show car based on his model car. Oddly enough (yeah, right!) he also called it "Voodoo Spider." He is missed.
  13. Wow, Steve. Outstanding!

  20. Good stuff, Mike! Thanks for the tip on the coupons. I can see some Modeler Grudge Matches coming!!! Also, as we add to the attractions, allow me to point out that Chris Sobak, Brad Norgaard, Art Laski, Randy Dillon, and Tim Pentecost are going to be slugging it out with their incredible scratch-built brass and plastic artistry, all the while competing for attention with John Teresi, Rick Blassl, [your name here], and a gaggle of other miniature plastic masters! *It's probably a good time to point out, as we are now only 6-1/2 weeks away, that guests and entrants in the Desert Scale Classic never compete with the hosts. We have a separate, people's choice competition for the host club members. Forget anything that's ever happened anywhere else. It's a Cactus Car Modelers tradition, and it's set in concrete! OnLine Registration is open! Go to www.Cactuscarmodelers.com and select the Desert Scale Classic tabs. We'll see you in the warm, hospitable Valley of the Sun!
  21. Very good!!
