Spectacular model! But, as Steve said, the white trim ring around the outer headlamps is glaringly missing. And, as Sam pointed out, the top lamps on the rear fenders of a 440 should be backup lamps. The only '62 Dodges with four taillights were the Polara 500s. Note the significant differences in trim appointments on these Polara 500 examples. Here's the Dart 440, like your model: Oh, yeah. Those white accent rings on the outer headlamp bezels? All Darts and Polaras had them, regardless of body color. Here's as good a pic as I could find quickly:

Mmmmmmm. Sliders is good. 1. One of the earliest White Castles was in downtown Colorado Springs for decades. Slipped away in the very early 70's. 2. One of the best slider joints is the Cozy Inn in Salina, KS (or at least was . . . don't know if it still exists). Started in the 30's and was still going strong in the 80's . . . 3. There's a "joint" here in Phoenix . . . calls itself "Windy City Hamburgers" and serves Chicago Dogs, etc. Great sliders . . . great dogs . . . but all the Bears and Cubs décor is tedious. All I want to do is eat a great lunch with all the Daleys staring down at me from the walls. Even so, the lines are out the door most of the time.

Great news, Terry! You don't have to wait to retrieve your 'man card,' buddy. Anybody that's been through what you have and has still maintained a good attitude is a man in my book.

Very, very nice! . . . but to be completely candid, the artillery wheels are screaming for a black wash to bring out the slots. Still a nice looking build.

And then there's the whole 'native American' thing. I'm native American. Anyone born in America is native American, regardless of their ethnicity. I even have some American Indian ancestry, but I AM 100% American. I have English ancestry, but don't call myself English-American. I have Swedish ancestry, but don't call myself Swedish-American. And, I am not easily offended. But, 'Political Correctness' does indeed offend me.
