  1. Looks good, Jonathan.
  2. They look good, Jonathan. Just need to get antennae'd up! Bring 'em out to GoodGuys next month, and don't forget to join Moonlight Modelers by December ~ that's when we have our annual "Lights & Sirens Challenge" - contest for emergency vehicles only.
  3. That's a very credible 'first in a long time' build, Keith! Nothing to be bashful about, it looks good. Welcome back to the hobby! It was a pleasure meeting you at the swap meet. Don't be a stranger.
  4. That's nice! Love the juxtaposition of the green body, black accents, and redline tires! Perfect.
  5. Nice.
  6. Swoop! There it is. Swoop. There it is. Can't touch that. Swoop. There it is.
  7. Supersweet!
  8. Nice.
  9. Okay. Now that you say it, I see it. D'oh! I suppose the close proximity of the raffle ticket sale sign suggests the Danbury Stude is the prize. (It was way late at night when I viewed all those pix! That's my story and I'm sticking to it.)
  10. Beautiful build!! Who is the builder? *Thanks for posting these pix, Howard.

    Sweeet!
  15. Wow! Sweeet!
  16. 'Bout time. Welcome, Dale! If you guys are real nice, PK might be persuaded to post some pix of one of his epic builds ... "Semi Tough." Talk about requiring some bandwidth!!
  17. It was pretty cool ~~~ that a simple swap meet turned into an informal "club"-like get together! David G, My80Malibu (Gabe), Steve Keck, Jeff Alderman, Mark Anderson, and Scott Stockdill stopped in, too! The guys also got to meet our Most Infamous Lurker - Dan Doane! He never misses a thread, but never posts a word. I think he only pays half his internet bill so they only let him read! Keith also met gasser59 - Brad, and got a chance to see both Brad's and Chris' amazing builds ... live! Agent G and I spent some time comparing our 'war stories' and swapping lies ... that was great fun for us (and what a great guy he is! Just as I suspected.) Our amazing exploits entertained one and all. Mrs. G is a sweetheart ~ but I learned that not only is she a sainte for tolerating G, but she also holds her own and dishes it back to G pretty well! LOL. She and The Lovely and Gracious Mrs. B would get along extremely well, but I don't know if we want them sharing notes! Three of us had adjoining tables ... PlasticKits, Mike Kucaba, and I. It became MCM Forum headquarters! And a great time was had by all!
  18. Uh ... in shock ... tightness in chest ... unable to breathe. Chris brought this amazing model to the swap meet today and we ended up with a mini-club meeting attended by several Moonlight Modelers, a few Cactus Car Modelers, several IPMS members and quite a few new friends, including Johnathan and Uncle Keith and Agent G (all the way from Vast Losses, NV) and a cast of thousands, all drooling over this build. The collective determination was: WOW!!! This is a most excellent model that just blows you away with all the precise detail! Chris has complete documentation (engineering drawings, photo book and notes) memorializing every step of the build! It is very much ANOTHER masterpiece! It just defies description! And, Brad "gasser59" Norgaard had his stunning altered there as well. It is spectacular! To see both of these pieces of art on the same table at the same time and to study the minute details was to appreciate automotive modeling art at its very best!! We in Phoenix are quite modeling-fortunate, as these guys are right up "there" with the best! And that's worth an emoticon!

The collective determination was: OMG!!! Trust me; even close up pix do not convey the impact of the stunning beauty of this model. It is amazing! Brad truly has a masterpiece in the works. And, Chris "Mooneyzs" Sobak had his incredible funny car there as well. It defies description!
