  6. (Insert emoticon indicating, "Nah, you didn't insult every model builder ... not every model builder ... maybe just ruffled one set of feathers" here.)
  7. Good job! Welcome to the asylum.
  8. WHAT are you guys comparing?
  9. Actually, I'd guess a modern (read that: Current) NASCAR hauler trailer with accessories and fitments would make an ideal adjunct to the Lonestar (seen the infield at a race lately?). Plus, it would likely be a resounding success, tapping into the large market of builders who have NASCAR models but no haulers, the untold masses who would be stirred to build a hauler for shitakes-and-giggles (and would then have to buy a Lonestar to go with the trailer), as well as the already-existing cadre of big-rig die-hards who are looking for something ~ anything ~ modern to couple up with some of the Lonestars they already have. {Sidebar: Ever notice how naked a semi-tractor looks without a trailer?} Talk about a win/win/win/win/WINNER for Moebius!!!
  10. Six, if you'll count me.

  13. Dittoes! I'm well on the way to that point, anyway! Preorders in for everything that's been half-way seriously hinted about!

  15. Here's mine in a nutshell: 1) Anxiously open the kit box, get a whiff of the fresh styrene. 2) Remove contents; examine body, study every tree, study every part, study decals, review assembly instructions, satisfy self that general assembly sequence is understood. 3) Formulate build concept; envision finished model; develop plan for execution of build; work out (mentally) solution to every problematic component or assembly; determine color schemes; finalize paint and finish choices. 4) Mentally prepare detailed parts requirements list, including aftermarket components. 5) Place body, trees, parts, instructions, decals back in kit box. 6) Enter identification data (kit number, storage box and bin location) into Excel spreadsheet inventory tracker. 7) Place box in proper storage location. 8) Place planned project on mental list of things to do. 9) Forget project. 10) Years later, while looking for something else, rediscover kit and vaguely remember the plan, wonder why project was never completed started.
