  2. Really nice job! any details on it ? like what paint you used and the color?
  3. l put a order in on monday, got a conformation e mail, just waiting for the stuff to be shipped.i was kinda skeptical,as a side note i had bad luck with dirt modeler parts,...never got a e-mail,or anything after a couple of weeks paypal refunded my money.
  4. i order from scott all the time, just placed another order 4 days ago, will show up today, fast shipping and great stuf from him!
  5. i love MCW paints,i only use enamels so can't comment on the lacquers,i never have been any good with paint lobs except out of testors rattle cans, since i switched to mcw enamels out of my airbrush, painting is fun again!!as hard as i try i cant seem to screw up using their paints, lol as for primers, i use acrylic(MIG_AMMO_wich is stylinrez brand and auto parts store can primer, and sometimes no primer!...never screwed up a basecoat doing it that way,i also use mcw enamel gloss,1k type clear, and recently bough mcw 2k clear but have not used it yet.mcw moved back down south the last couple of months so waitng for them to fulfill all orders may take some time as i waited for over a month for them to catch up. try using hobby nut models as they carry the mcw line of paints and have a bunch in stock as i bought from them many times in the last 6 months
  6. looking great so far, the big issue with those kits are the chassis, its nothing like the SRD chassis that was under the original car but its more of a passenger stock vega chassis.i have one in my stash that i want to tackle when time permits as well as some old hot rod mags that has some shots of the car and the s/a designs book by bill jenkins that came out in the 70's for some reference, other than that i dont think there are a lot of pics of the chassis for it.
  7. who are you kidding,..thats a real lola,....outstanding job!!...i remember this build from the begining,..your hard work payed off,i loved those tamiya big scale kits, had one and never dived into it and sold it,..a move i am regretting.
  8. wow,i have not built a truck model in about 7 years, but he was my go to guy for resin parts, met him at a few shows, great guy! rip
  9. i ordered a bunch of stuff from him over the last 3/4 months, very fast shipping, very nice guy to deal with buy with confidence!
  10. Ok then what is the overall OD of tires mounted on rims for the welds v series? And how wide?
  11. just recieved a order from him a week ago,i ordered back in december,..a little wait but no biggie!
  12. i am trying to get a size on their weld v series,or all 1/24 scale wheels to see if they will fir my tires, but no response from e mail,or messaging on site?
  13. nice job!,i just got one of these kits and realized its the re-bopped lindburgh kit
  14. Jim, I actually have a diorama , the old aurora racing scenes hanks speed shop, they are in there, but I will admit they are kinda big to store. I thinned out my 1/24/5 scale collection and added the 1:16 scale stuff in its place, lol
