  1. Today I was talking to one of my dads friends. telling him that I had taken up model building . he went and got a little box and asked can you use these then . never thought I would be so happy to see Dentists tools . but they will be great for scribing and all kind of modelling . and a good variety of Files in all shapes and sizes . . man this made my whole day
  2. yes thats awesome .
  3. this looks awesome . will check in on it
  4. nice one . remember seeing these years ago . and nice engine sofar
  5. nice good luck and have fun . i hope you can make your deadline .
  6. everybody,s soo nice on this forum . thank you guys
  7. thanks Dann. its growing on me thank you Tony . yes thats so true too . its not that bad i guess the more i look at it the more i like it . next one will be better .. thanks Fabrizio glad you like it thanks Leslie .
  8. My 3rd Build was going to be easy. i thought .... but it just seamed like it was fighting me especially the paint .had to redo much of it . and i did not end up where i had originally pictured it . it definately dident turn out to be a showcar (maybe a contender for a Complete restauration in the future. but never the less i got it done . this Corona has a custom interior with a rollcage. custom front and rear spoiler. and a mesh in the grill. the wheels are optional Mpc.s . im imaginating the car to be a Jdm/drift guy,s plaything / everyday driver . ´this build really pushed me to the point of allmost giving up when it just keept getting worse . but glad i dident even if its not perfect and the clear turned flat in some places. maybe its just a car on its way to becomming a so called Drift Missile car . im glad i had the struggle it just gives experience for next time . so here it is . this was the kit it was a old Otaki kit ..one of those motorized kits
  9. just a little Steve . I did actually think to do it with white background . but ended up not doing it !!. going to try again another time on another build.
  10. really I'm glad. sounds cool . yes dig it out and build it
  11. a real beauty you got there . very nice .
  12. the show goes on . I mounted the wheels made an exhaust and both a front and rear spoiler . and I also flat,nd the black squares so now all that it needs is a few decals. and the fender mounted mirrors . it will never be a showcar . I think this will be a great contender for a restauration in the future . when I have more experience . but for now its what it is .. this was just one of those builds where it just kicked my butt all the way through ..
  13. and the body has got more work to it . now it has black squares that I hand painted on on the hood and boot . and some trim work cut the grill out and put mesh in there in red . back of the corona not happy with the lights yet so this is where I am now. and I ve come to see that I have much to learn and much skill to acquire . actually feeling a little disappointed in myself . but ill just have to shake that. its only my 3rd build after all . do you know the feeling when things dont come out the way you see them in your head . because lack of skill
  14. progress . interior painted decided it needed a small rollbar installed .
  15. thank you Rob . this build has been a challenge for sure . and it will never be a show car . but that's ok ,
