Here is the progress . for now cut the mounts for the leafs of the chassis and cut some ´lifting blocks glued them in and then mounts back on then i made some longer dampers from q-tips and broom.s hair . complete just need to be cut to right length and the chassis repaintet with the lift blocks -
ready to start again . I painted the rims put a scoop on the hood and cleared the body . witch is now dry . need to assemble the liftkit now .

hey Dan thanks. that looks great what you did there on the rebody .I'm totally new to 1:25 scale building cars so dident know about the monsters you mention but ill surly keep those in mind for future lifted trucks I'm going to build. I absolutely love lifted trucks so I have a few I want to do. I dont know yet what kind of lift it will be on the jeep . I guess it will be a backyard lift with some good old redneck ingenuity . no really was just thinkin of extending everything that's already there. makin longer dampers and some kind of extension to where the leafsprings mount . and maybe some reinforcements . to beef it up

man that engine was a challenge . I guess ill learn to love them . got it done and even got plugwires on it . its not too bad for my first try I think . I dont know why . but this happened . looks good with the mesh behind it . and then some big ass tires rolled in to the workshop. here they are with the originals ...... Oh yeah we be ridin high the wheelhub on the rims was just a big hole so I'm trying to make them look right .

engine is In the works . I lost a part, cooling pipe I think . been lookin on the floor but its just gone . I also tried to drill the Dizzy like ive seen so many times on builds . that's not easy. over all I have to get used to everything being so small but I am enjoying this

so progress is slow . but got the body and frame painted. tryed to get a effect of wheel/road spray on the frame and axels like tar or oil . not sure about it tho . i also made a mesh for the radiator and the cage is done too . soo its comming along...

hey everybody . im just getting ready to start my first build . i was thinking i was going to build it box stock. but where is the challenge in that . so ill build it as a civillian recreational vehicle i dubbed this project "Mud Toy" . keywords are . Big tires . cage , Lift kit , and Fun . will be posting as i figure things out ill just have fun with this first build . so please bare with me . i have cleaned all parts and sanded them first up i need to find a color for it . here it just sits on a pair of way too big for scale oil drums

thanks yes I'm pretty happy with it . the Lancia is very sharply molded it looks great very nice detail. did some research on it. its the first issue from 1980 so 36 years old so cool I love old stuff . the Mustang does look like its pretty poorly molded example one of the side window louvers isnt molded completely . but ill se if I can get it build decently . over all I,m told I Scored . so cant be anything other than happy about my first big haul .

Yes its really impressing me that its almost 50 years old that and the bathtub are 48 year old kits this milk truck looks like new . someone looked after it .since 1969 .

Then i Got the Big moving size box with suposed Vintage kits . and i dont know much about them but here they are maybe you guys can tell me more about them . the scout 2 is not old i know. Airfix Lancia Stratos Amt Scout 2 Otaki (i think ) Corona 1600 sl it has gears could be motorized apperently Revell Mustang Turbo cobra Monogram 1941 Lincoln Conti has a broken window frame Airfix Four stroke Engine Eldon The milk truck . cool hot rod still in cellophane Amt 1967 Mercury Comet Gt Monogram Bathtub buggy . i laughed so hard pulling this one out . still cool tho . so thats what i got now to find out what i have . a dont care if its rare or not will build them or trade sometime down the line maybe so i guess i have officially started my Stash . with 10 kits right from the get go . heres one of all the bodys .

First i got the little box with a New Mpc ww2 jeep kit . so thats the official first kit i own. the box also containd a few tools and glues etc . and was suprised to find a little bag of money in there but it was just because they dident have the CA i ordered .

yeah i hate waiting . but not much else to do . its funny you can drive straight across this country in about 4 hours . but the postal service takes days ... i hope you get your paint soon Steve.

I Dident get anything today been waiting for the postman all day stayed home all day . but he never came boohoo... im waiting on a Mpc ww2 Jeep . and some tools to get me going in this hobby like a new xacto knife and blades . a Revell precision saw some putty and glues ... etc. and i was really hoping my big vintage kit box lot that i bought was going to come today . i bought it blind i know Theres 9 "suposed vintage" kit cars in it and cant wait to see what it is . so these 10 kits will be the beginning my modelling start and stash. i guess tomorrow then ..
