  1. Here is my version of the Atlantis Topolino. Quite a bit of modifying parts to get things to fit. I had to make my own pedals and chute mount and rear shocks and mounts. Also modified the front to fit the lever arms instead of tube shocks. I widened the kit rear wheels so I could fit bigger slicks and got some 3d printed 12 spokes for the front. Paint is SMS pearl white base with Tamiya pearl yellow and then SMS Inca gold panels and fogging with the kit decals and then Tamiya clear. I have put a photo of the van that i built for towing it Thanks for looking Lee.
  2. Not sure. I was given a box of bits by my mate and they were in there
  3. Just finished up this Chevy van. Not much done to the bodywork just removed the badges. The paint is metalflake silver base with Tamiya yellow, orange and red stripes and then clear blue over pearl blue patterns with Tamiya TS13 clear. Thanks for looking Lee.
  4. Brilliant build so far, really like the suspension mods. The stance is nice and aggressive
  5. Fantastic build so far
  6. Update. Got the paint done. SMS pearl white base with Tamiya pearl yellow with SMS Inca gold patterns and fogging. Letting it dry for a couple of days and then a few decals and clear. Thanks for looking Lee
  7. Really nice. The paint is brilliant
  8. Its a lot of work to get anything decent from it I have done quite a bit of moving stuff around
  9. I'm building a custom painted Chevy van with trailer for a big show here in November. But I like the idea
  10. Update. Took some time off from this as it was doing my head in! A few bits scratch built such as the rear shocks and mounts and made some mounts for the belly pan which will be permanently mounted to the frame and then the body mounted to that so it can still be removed. Also made some pedal mounts as the kit has no pedals! I have now got the chassis painted and mostly complete still some engine work to do and then onto the bodywork. Thanks for looking Lee
  11. Been gathering parts for this 34 Ford. So far got a 32 front crossmember and axle and a model A rear crossmember and a Halibrand quick change rear. The wheels are 3d printed resin kidney beans.
  12. Fantastic build Dennis. Nice mix and match of parts
  13. Update Got the last patterns on the van. Just waiting a few days before final clear and then hopefully round 2 will reply to my email about replacement portholes and rear lights. Thanks for looking Lee
  14. Yep its going to dragging my Topolino when I finish it.
  15. Got the second pattern on now along with a couple of coats of clear. Very happy
  16. Yes I mask all the way round the lace to keep it tight and also keep the airbrush at right angles to the surface and use light coats
  17. That would be cool. I tried it on a 56 Chevy Nomad
  18. Use the same colours but a different pattern. I drew it out on paper and put on the side to give me an idea of how it would look
  19. Got some colour on the bug. VW Meerblau rattle can went on really nice apart from a small run under the headlight. Thanks for looking Lee
  20. Got this old Chevy van at a show last year. I started by putting the chassis together and searched my parts box for some Cragar five spokes and some tires. The fronts are from the Revell 68 Dodge Dart and the rears are from an AMT Impala I have cleaned up the body and removed the badges. I have laid down a silver flake base coat and put on some graphics using clear yellow, orange and red. Still lots to do. Thanks for looking Lee
  21. Thats a cool engine set up. And the mockup looks brilliant
