Sounds cool. Eds bodies are great, this is my third build using one.
-
Thanks. No i will be leaving the fenders as they are

Just started this using a drag city casting chopped body. I have dialled in the stance by lowering the front I didn't need to alter the rear. Wheels are from 3d scale parts with rear using the kit tyres. I've set it up with the louvered side panels from the 5 window kit. Thanks for looking Lee

Thanks Oliver. Yes it going to be candy blue.

Done a bit more. Got the rear pan in and the first coat of primer. I have a few areas to sort as a few areas have ghosted through. Also got the wheels on,they are from the AMT 50 Ford convertible. Thanks for looking Lee

Thats cool. Nice Firebird

I did think about it but I decided just to clean up the lines and make a mildish custom
-
Thanks guys. Quite enjoying building this

My friend kindly gave me this as a present. It wasn't complete and he challenged me to build it using the custom parts in the box. The first thing I did was remove all the emblems and fill the vent doors in the wings then the gas filler door and shave the door handles. I have also added the peaked headlights. I used the kit rolled front pan which took quite a bit of time to get the shape right and to get the insert to fit. I'm now on with the rolled rear pan but I'm having to modify the kit part instead of just scratching one. Thanks for looking Lee

Brilliant work with the interior. Love the new door panels -
Afraid not James I can't make it this year
-
Thanks Dennis I'm really happy how it turned out. The paint really pops in the right light but is really difficult to photograph.

Really nice clean build. We'll done

Thanks guys for the great comments

Just finished up my model A. Drag City resin body on a Revell 29 roadster chassis modified by z"d front and raised kick up. Wheels are from the Swindler A Willys. Paint is clear red over metallic grey and mica silver. Thanks for looking Lee

Thanks guys on the home stretch now

The gauges are from the rvell 32 Ford. I drilled the centres out first before putting in the decals.

Update. Got the interior finished up and hopefully will have the A finished this weekend so the next post will be in the completed section. Thanks for looking Lee

Small update. Got the paint sorted. Tamiya clear red over metallic grey. Need to let it sit for a while before I put the clear on. Thanks for looking Lee.

Yep I sorted it before I painted. I like to go round and check all my tape before I paint
