You are the friggin' best, thank you! This is a great help, I'll be able to finish it up in a few days, I'll have some pictures soon so you can give it a looksee. And yeah, when you say "long time", I spotted a topic with a request for the seat decals from several years ago when I was digging up info on the seats and whatnot, man I'm surprised no-one's done it so far given you're far from the only one who'd like to see it done! Edit: What I got so far in an approx. 70mm by 90mm square, I can try to go smaller but the white would become near-single pixel width and I have no clue how well they'll end up on print if thats the case. It won't have the brown background of course, just put that in there for my own convenience on how it stands with the white. Keep as it is or go smaller and see what happens? Ahhh if it's 1/16th, I'm afraid I can't really help. I mean, the GT-500 stripes possibly but they'd take up a fair amount of real estate on the sheet and be rather pricey as a result. I'll give it a shot, though but don't hold your hopes up high D:

Happily, I'll need to know though whether the kit's in 1/24th scale or 1/25 and/or if it's just the exterior GT500 stripes, might be a bunch of guess work on my part otherwise D: I'm working on the extra air cleaner decals and general engine bay fluffs(which was a great idea, thanks <3) and I'm generally basing the size tests/math on the Revell and AMT HEMI and/or 340-through-440 V8 blocks, so that's going smoothly, but could you do me a favor and measure the width and height of the seats on the Ford? I think I'm nailing the seat pattern, I just have no idea whether or not they're gonna be the right size(wanna atleast get it right given people spend money on it!). Currently using a '70 Charger bench for a really rough template >.<

Company called Rothko & Frost, accidentally stumbled upon them a while ago cause they offered what I initially wanted the most: medium 9x19cm sheets with metallics and full CMYK for less than 25 euro, so I could just craft up my stuff for funsies and use it myself for whenever the kit(looking at you AMT) would be missing certain decals/details, but they got rid of that small sheet option and now only offer A4-sized sheets exclusively so I thought, what the hell, lets go big. Also good news, the Aspen R/T and Firebird masks came in today!

The long semi-custom R/T stripe's available in black, metallic silver and white and the stock bottom stripes come in maroon, blue, metallic silver and metallic gold. Oh I'm on it, dude! I can easily get 'em into 1/25th shape with what I got lying around and all the assets you linked. Also, I was in the middle of doing those "CAMARO" zebra-strobe seat inlays for a '83-'84 Camaros so I wouldn't mind expanding further to get seat decals done. The striped pattern is just a lighter shade of the interior color or is it actually white?

Yeeeaahhh I have done a similar thing on a '92 Firebird(although I half-assed it something fierce, yours looks pretty dang good) earlier this year, so for me its also too little too late but... Hopefully can help people out from here on out hah. Also, the Hurst/Olds sheet's here, hooray! A bit too little red on the Hurst/Olds logos but they were both 2px at best and black wins over red for prominence so... learning experience.

So a while back I decided I'd give making my own decals sheets a go cause I was sick of having no Dodge/Plymouth air cleaner decals at any given time and I'd say so far, so good! Actually really enjoy it plus I kinda hope to fill a bit of a somewhat less popular void and some quality of life enhancers(like say the honeycomb mesh for '98 Firebirds and maks for '85-'92 Firebirds). Next week I'll hopefully have the '84 Hurst/Olds sheets at home from the printer and the week after the '80 Aspen R/T sets. Update #3: Y'know what, probably easier to list out what I got in progress at the moment. And seriously, feel free to request stuff. My comfort zone is 70s through 90s stuff but honestly, I thoroughly like doing this, it's my zen zone almost equal or more so enjoyable than kit building. Just try to give me measurements(metric preferred, but imperial's fine) if you have specifics in mind and I'll be on it rather quickly. Revell DE 1st quarter releases
echoxrayniner replied to The Junkman's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
At 25,500 units over 11 months in 2015! Quite impressive given we hardly buy pick-ups(we seem to love closed-bed SUVs), let alone Fords. Most pickups here are either Toyota, Nissan or Mitsubishi, nice to see Ford back on top. It's weird though, I hear they're quite common in the UK while the mainland seems to love Dodge RAMs a lot more, especially the Germans and the Dutch. -
1984 Hurst Cutlass decals
echoxrayniner replied to gasman's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Okay for those interested, this is the final product(gonna have it printed this week): Revell's bringing out the '85 Cutlass 442 so I figured I'd scrap the plans for a '85-'87 sheet and incorporate the extras into this one, like the vanity plates, '86 onwards 442 logos and a digital dash that you could use in tandem with PE parts or just slap it in there under some clear plastic, on top of all the inverted stripes for the '84 H/O, grilles, plates, dashboard fan, '84 plates, reverse lights, etc. -
I've completed the 1992 kit of the Syclone a few years ago and wanted to make a Sonoma GT(or a Typhoon, but lost the eBay sale of the resin body) version for funsies but then I found out about the decal sheet in the 2010 re-release having all the stripes for the Marlboro edition, just minus the logos. So I tinkered up a decal sheet, which I had already mostly done for the Typhoon or the Sonoma and figured I'd get started! (Also, I know it's technically a pick up truck but... it has the acceleration to beat era appropriate Corvettes, Porsches and even Ferrari's, plus the dang thing could only hold 500 pounds in the back, even a Toyota Camry could tow that much in the backseats and trunk. So, specifics! D:) So far I've wired up the engine, build the chassis and detailed the interior and working on the body as we speak. Using the five spokes from a '94 Impala SS to get nicer blacked out wheels, given the real version has these little Boyd Coddington wheels. Plus the little decal sheet I designed for it(them):

I'mma try and curb my own enthusiasm as... well, apparently there's ****-all desire for late seventies, early eighties shadow-of-their-former-selves muscle cars(or at least, seemingly), but if there's a '70-'76 Ranchero, '75-'76 Grand Am or dare I say, Can Am, or even as much as a simple, dull late seventies Regal, I'd literally be screaming joy off rooftops. The annuals from MPC back in the day, even though they were objectively quite balls, still make for nice time pieces. Hell coming to think of it, wouldn't even be opposed to some proper kitted new gen Ford/Chevy/Dodges.

1984 Hurst Cutlass decals
echoxrayniner replied to gasman's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Oh definitely! I'm just awaiting the print itself to see if the color came through correctly before pawning off sets, don't wanna half-cock it but if all goes well they should be ready by the end of the month. Also if there's requests and/or suggestions, lemme know! -
1984 Hurst Cutlass decals
echoxrayniner replied to gasman's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I'm actually in the middle of working on a sheet with the inverted scheme, edited grille decal, Hurst/Olds logos without the 15th Anniversary, single bar reverse lights and Olds logos for the tail lamps and some non-vanity 1984 license plates. You'll need the original 1983 sheet for the side-marker lights, Oldsmobile front bumper logo and dashboard though. Edit: Here's the raw sheet so far, smoothing the lines out as we speak.
