  1. Jürgen very nice finish and unique rig. It looks like it could be rolling on the Roads of Canada or Alaska to me. Your hard work and labor paid off Congratulations on your build.
  2. Great finish putting all the different parts from different kits and Resin to make this truck. Congrats Brian.
  3. Thanks for sharing Ken they look awesome well worth the wait. I’ve ordered a couple times now from him and the new owner has his act together when it comes to Quality service and Quality decals. My next order I’m planning on ordering this set along with the Flat Bed Truck only ones he now offers. You won’t be disappointed either when applying them they go on great with no issues.
  4. That Condenser in front of the Radiator is so off the charts and convincing. Wow 🤩
  5. Why they would pass one in the first place when the Highway is covered and he’s making a clear pass. I learned that lesson the hard way and never done it again.
  6. Cool little build and interesting I’m in.
  7. Radiator is looking good going to be a nice truck when finished. Standing by for more updates
  8. Back in the late 1980s when Renault was in bed with them I was at a Mack dealership in St. Louis I asked the salesman if they were going to replace the Bulldog with a Poodle he didn’t care too much for my comment 😂
  9. You should be that’s a Beautiful little trailer and it’s going to be one terrific looking rig.
  10. Thanks Brian I’m glad you like it.
  11. Some days I do I had the truck for 19 years dad passed away after going to one show after it was completed with us in Paducah Ky. and it was never the same after that even though Bill and I still showed our trucks many years after dad’s passing there was always a empty feeling. I sold the truck because of my physical health was not doing well and I wasn’t going to be like these guys who are in the late 70s saying “I’m going to fix it up some day” I sold it so some one else could enjoy the truck as much as I did.
  12. Love to see that picture Here you go not sure if can see them. I’ll try to dig out more of my resto pics for you. That’s dad in the background. I sold the truck about 5 years ago. Here’s you a few more My brother Bill and I at a truck show. We always enjoyed showing our trucks together.
  13. Drove one truck in my life with them their not fun on switchback curvy roads they are terrible for the roads here in the foothills of the Ozarks very mushy feeling when you put into a hard curve. I don’t like them.
  14. Gary on my Real 1.1 Autocar the tanks were hanging down on the inside of the frame just behind the cab if this helps. I can get you a pic if you need one.
  15. I have to agree with you Jeff beautiful isn’t. By Gary doing this reminds me when my dad was helped me restore my “Real” 1.1 Autocar grille he cut and fitted the mesh just like Gary did. Thanks Gary for the memory.
  16. I really like your fittings the look very convincing along with your build updates.
  17. Nice one that’s a cool Pete. Maybe that’s why I don’t do much Scratch high end detailing I’ve watched my brother Bill suffer from this disease ever since I was a kid. It would be amazing to see him finish just one of these super high end detailed builds he has Idling on the side.
  18. He’s just flexing his scratchy muscles now to scare ya 😂
  19. Yes there’s a big difference. I drove a 1992 Kenworth K-100 single bunk flat top in 1996 and in 1992 I drove this truck a Kenworth K-100 Golden Nugget. That’s the owner and his step son in the pic they were friends of our family. I was 24 years old at the time. He was behind 2 payments and asked my employer at the time I was driving for “which they were friends also “ if I could team with him for a week and I agreed because he was exhausted trying to make as many runs as he could to catch up. It was a Beautiful truck inside and out.
  20. We had one of those in my home town I live about 5 miles from town now I live in the country. The Sears small store was in between the IGA supermarket and the TG&Y department store. TG&Y is one of the stores my middle brother Bill bought all his models in the early 1970s. My oldest Brother graduated in 1976 so kinda now got a idea of your age 😂. I’m not that for behind you. I appreciate your reply
  21. Yes you did. My brother had that one and I did at one time I kept the decals and sold the truck many years ago. The wrecker is a nice one.
  22. That’s awesome I figured that is how it was. Did you open them? I would like to see how they did it if you want you too. You can post it here I don’t care.
  23. You said it Gary lots of talent here for sure not matter what they build.
  24. Exactly and I need a fun build at the moment where I can kick back and relax and enjoy building Trucks like I used too without the rivet counters looking over my shoulder telling me how wrong my builds are. That’s the best thing about this place I like.
