  1. Got and few kits and paints from the hobbyshop that bought a small collection from someone.?
  2. Got some more canadian plates and cop decals for the new AMT Cop car.?
  3. Johan did make a 1968 fury III convertible, but i'm guessing it would cost a fortune for an unbuilt example.?
  4. Correct me if i'm wrong doesn't Modelhaus offer alot of old 60's tires in resin that would be correct for the 66 'Vette?.
  5. Excellent!?
  6. It's quite possible to build if you're into kitbashing, cut the front clip from the 65'El-Camino and mate it with the 64 malibu body and for the correct tail panel the 65'chevelle AWB drag car has that part. It's something i may try and build next year.
  7. Back with a small update, dashboard completed, drilled out the holes in the steering wheel, i didn't use the steering wheel decal just a light touch of Tamiya panel liner. The TRX tires were not going to cut it,the wheels are from the 65'EL-Camino and the tires are from a AMT tires pack.I also added valve stems but they're so tiny you can't see them.?‍♂️
  8. I seem to remember years ago Morgan Automotive detail offered a 79'Notchback in resin,no idea if they're still in business.
  9. Nice start so far.?
  10. Love the color!!.
  11. I live in Canada as well and DHL is ripping people off with the import/duty tax!,i've gotten emails from them over my last few transactions saying i owe $15 dollars for tax/import fees. You have the choice not to pay it til it reaches your city, which i've done and both times the parcel showed up on my door,no delivery notice saying i had to pick my parcel at the post office the next business because a fee is owing.I agree no combined shipping is just a killer for me as well,i've passed on buying items just for that reason, thankfully not all sellers use that nonsense!!.
  12. A real Beauty!!
  13. Awesome work so far!!
  14. It does lack detail, you could always kitbash i with the 78'vette for a better build.
  15. I bought a couple pairs years ago on ebay by a seller named PSF hobbies i believe, the plan is to build one as a hemi coupe and build one as the Hemi convertible in Burnt orange you pictured using a Missing Link convertible i have.
  16. It's been a couple months,i did a group build on Facebook so it took away from this build i had a couple setbacks on that build and this one,car has been painted and clearcoated,i find it easier to clearcoat over the BMF. This back panel gave me nightmares!!,i couldn't get the BMF to stick around the corners, after multiple tries it finally came together. The interior is painted Testors wood and the darker areas are the same color with some Gloss Brown added and a coat of satin varnish. The engine is installed and i used parts from the 64'Impala ,65'Z16,66'Nova and 69'Vette and 70'Z28 ,i had to shorten the driveshaft a little bit,was hoping to finish this by the end of July but not likely.
  17. I think it looks that way, because AMT makes their rims and tires to small, but looking forward to what you do with this kit.
  18. Fantastic detail everywhere!,it's been a real joy to follow along!!?
  19. Revell is reissuing the 70'Charger in stock form,if you go on Youtube and check out the guy ThrottlePower his video from from last week titled Revell july2024 at the 2:05 mark the box art is clearly shown.
  20. Looks good! ?,glad to see this kit is being reissued.
  21. Yesterdays arrivals,guess i still have a little weakness for 70's Dodge vans?‍♂️
  22. Why not use the entire duster chassis underneath?.
  23. Excellent looking Judge!!?
