Appreciate the commments!..okay i have the body/chassis put together,no fit issues at all, just some touchups on the front glass and adding the windshield wiper and it will be finished.

Thanks for the comments!,...okay a few updates, the kit engine has very little detail,so the block was painted Mr.Hobby Stainless 2,then a wash of Tamiya Black panel wash and some Tamiya flat red and Vallejo black and some kit supplied wire and decals. Chassis complete and wheels added, pretty simplified as is most of the kit Lastly the interior, i went with a red/white interior and thought afterwards it looked like a Mighty Morphin power ranger?♂️even though the decals are 35 yrs old they went on just fine ,i did spray them 1st with a couple light coats of tamiya semi gloss clear.

The Night Rider 4x4 was reissued in the late 90's under the SSP or Selected Subjects Program that lasted a couple years,i also bought the 1/8 85 Iroc under the program around the same time. Also AMT had the Buyers choice Program around the same time i don't remember all the releases only the 64'Mercury Marauder kit.

Yeah, same here this one's been sitting for 20 +years in my stash, kind got lost in the shuffle. The wheel change was needed, the stock wheels look pretty bland, thanks for the comment.

Started a new build a few days ago, decided not to build it in the box art colors, going with a Tamiya Bright Red exterior and a wheel swap.Interior colors i'm still debating. Wheels are from the Huracan. Have a few of the chassis parts painted.

I thought the rooflines looked very similar as well. Thanks,it took a few hours of polishing to get a better finish. Glad you like it,my builds are kinda all over the place. Airbrushing is a real game changer,it gives way better control that cans, it's really helped improve my finishes. Thank you!? Thanks for the kind words Slusher!? Thank you sir!!?

Started putting the parts together, having a few fit issues, mirrors need a little sanding down to fit the body and the stance in the rear is a little higher than expected?
