  1. Finished this a few days ago,dug out my old photobooth for some inside/outside shots,i built this using a OOP transkit and Amt's 92'Z28 kit, color is Medium Quasar Blue.I resin casted the headlights, taillights and arm rests, the outside mirrors came from Revells ultra Z Camaro,i scribed out the plastic between the wheels and i added wheel weight and valve stems.I used decals from the kit and Rays kits and decals as well. Some outside pictures
  2. Color looks stunning on that body!!?
  3. Pretty sure revell made a coupe and convertible promo back then.
  4. Gorgeous looking Bee!!
  5. On a scale of 1-10 , would give this print a 8, mentioned to another forum member the windshield area seemed a little squarish but everything else i liked,my plan is to build it as a 69 'Baldwin motion car if i can find all the necessary parts.
  6. Overall i think its nicely done,i think the windshield area seems a little to squarish but probably can be fixed with a little sanding.
  7. Guilty as charged!,never knew one existed til then.
  8. Very creative idea, i will follow this one.
  9. Sweet looking Dart!! i love the stance!.
  10. Great scratch building skills.?
  11. Coming along nicely, good work on the engine/chassis.?
  12. Great looking build!, one of Revells fine releases in the nineties.
  13. I've debated buying this kit for years, how is the fit and quality of the parts?.
  14. Okay getting close to the end, there is no front spoiler in the kit so i resin copied one from the Revell 82'ultra Z camaro and test fit the interior,it needed a little grinding underneath but sits flush now.
  15. Todays arrivals,nice kits but they weren't the kits i ordered.?‍♂️
  16. Looks good so far.
  17. The coupe shows up on Ebay quite often, the prices vary from $50-75 dollars,AMT also made a 91'Z28 coupe which is a little cheaper than the 92 kit,the convertible transkit was made in the early ninties and very rarely shows up on Ebay.
  18. Thanks!, it's been a fun build so far. All American Models made the trans kit in the early nineties and i've only seen one build up on facebook a couple years ago, guess he never sold many.i think most of the real 1:1 cars are in the scrapyard now.? Thanks!,i thought i'd try to add a little weathering instead of a perfect showroom look.
  19. Another update, headlights installed and i cast the taillights in clear resin and painted them with Tamiya clear red and orange and testor's gloss black.
  20. As a kid in the 70's we had a 74 Squire in gold with the woodgrain and this kit although it's a 72 brings back memories, and i agree these kits can be really pricey now.I'm still hoping Missing Link will bring back their 74 GTO.
  21. Just to add.......... this is the resin conversion a 3d print would probably be more accurate.
  22. Late afternoon arrival yesterday, seller threw in some extra parts.?
  23. Thanks for the positive comments everyone!....okay so the interior is done i just need to glue the seatbelts to the body/backseat. The chassis is done and so is the engine wheels and tires. Lastly i cast the headlights in resin and painted the backs in Vallejo silver, not sure i'm 100% satisfied with them and may do another.
