  1. I wonder how many molds are accessible and how many are overseas where they may be difficult if not impossible to recover. Perhaps that is why the amount paid for the molds was so low.
  2. Has anyone tried these sprue cutters or have another brand to recommend? The photos and video on Micro-Marks site for the Fujiya show really smooth cuts. https://www.micromark.com/Fujiya-13-degree-Super-Sharp-Sprue-Cutter TIA David
  3. I find that extremely interesting as I have always liked the A/FX Mustangs but not AMT's gasser chassis. I will definitely explore when the Comet A/FX is released.
  4. Thank you Dave, I wasn't aware. ?
  5. I hope that the Ford Oval and the 427 SOHC lettering will be added to the cam covers, to me those are some of the iconic features of this engine.
  6. From the 30A Chopped 5 Window topic
  7. Weren't Trans-Am cars of this era and class limited to 5.0 liter displacement engines? Perhaps some of these items are for future versions of this kit.
  8. Attached is a picture of a 425 Nailhead built for the Roadster Shop found on transmissionadapters.com for reference. http://www.transmissionadapters.com/425 Buick Nailhead engine.htm David

  10. Hello all, Does anyone know of a source for a Tear Drop Hood for the Revell 65 Impala? Thank you
  11. Whistle Stop Trains if you are interested in model trains, they have some HO scale vehicles. Last time I was at Tammies they had a large selection of model cars. Powell's City of Books is huge with approximately 1,000,000 used, new and out of print books.

  15. I would like to see a complete Chevrolet 572 engine with the raised letter valve covers, headers, transmission and perhaps options for induction. David
  16. Randy contacted me after I posted to confirm my address and I have received all of the parts I ordered. They are the nicest resin parts I have ever seen. I am sorry to learn that small parts and tires will no longer be available through Perry’s web site or mail order. See the web site for changes at Perry’s.
  17. I ordered a couple of SOHC engines and Hilborn injector hats in May, 2007. Emails to their website to check status in July and August went unanswered until early September when Randy replied that I should have received them by now. When I replied that nothing had been received and asked if the shipment could be tracked, he replied that he would send again and to let him know if I ever received the first order. I emailed again in late September to ask for a delivery estimate, no response. I emailed again in November requesting an update and including a pdf copy of my original order, no response. I haven’t received any parts to date. Perry’s website is still up, and there are some other parts I had considered ordering but naturally I am not going to proceed until my first order is resolved. I would appreciate any information about the status of Perry’s Resin Replicas that any one can provide. Thank you
