Well, with everything you guys have given me, I'm sure I can find something. I am planning on building it as a diorama, and was also considering making it black and white, so that it looked just like the TV show. Ive had a project planned for quite a while and Im starting to look for the parts. My wife is a huge I Love Lucy fan and I would like to build this scene from the TV show. From what I can find, this car is a 1955 Pontiac Star Chief convertible. Does anyone know, where I can find a model of it, or something that will pass for one.

This has always bothered me. I have one customer in particular that comes to mind, he put his car, that he did no work on, in my stores car show, and took the credit for all the work. I did the sound system and I know for a fact that he paid someone else to do all the mechanical and cosmetic work. I would put a car built by someone else in a car show, but, I would certainly give credit where credit is due.

I tried this and it definitely worked. Only problem is the only thing I could think to hum was Herbert's(Family Guy) "Nokia" ring tone, and now I cant get it out of my head....creepy. Nana naa naa nana naa naa nana naa naa na, over and over again.

Looking sweet so far. I just have one question. Where did you get the Kicker amp? I see these used in builds every once in a while and I can never find them to buy for my own.

I got a new leather jacket, some timberland boots, call of duty: black ops and the two best of all a micromark gift card and a new digital camera(just when I figured out how to use the old one). No models yet though, but, my bro will be by tomorrow.

I thought the missing sock were what kept the dryer running. If its with them....I think we're in trouble. Any way, I have a snap together Mach 5, I think I may try that as a quick build and see what happens. Thanks guys, at the very least, its good to know I'm not alone.

I have an almost finished build and a just started build on my desk right now, and I haven't touched them for over a month. I really want to, I just never make it over, I'm just feeling so lazy lately. I am really busy at work, but thinking back, even on busy days, model building has always been relaxing afterward. So, what I'd like to know is, where can I can some motivation/inspiration to get back to it? What do you guys do? Im sure this happens to all of us at some point.

I did do a lot of test fitting, but apparently not enough, Im having a real hard time getting the body on now.

The LED is just leftover from a remote starter at work, the battery is out of one of the remotes. There is a momentary micro switch mounted under the car

It is painted, its Model Master Gunmetal. It didnt come out quite the way I had envisioned, but I think once it all comes together it'll look pretty nice.

The first thing that came to mind is brakes, the molded ones look horrible.
