  4. Another great project!! These "slammer-type" frames (which, like the real Tri-Five frames) lend themselves to lots of projects. Really enjoy watching the upgrades you're doing Bob. DJ PS: RON COON stuff sure helps "upgrade" the builds, am a BIG fan of his!!!!
  5. That rates a 10 on the cool-scale!!!! DJ
  6. Enjoy watching your progress Bob, quality work!!! DJ
  7. DITTO!!! This thing is right up your alley!!! DJ
  8. The bulk of the colors can actually be "tinted" (at least slightly) by the "darkness" of the primer you choose to use as the base coat, dark colors not so much, but light colors can change a lot. EVERYONE has a different method to obtain the finish/shade they are after, and I've always been all about "what-ever-works-for-you"....... from past experience, have always chosen white primer under brighter/lighter colors and gray under darker colors to try to obtain "depth". If you are REALLY trying to end up with "something to take pride in", I would definately side with the guys who are suggesting the test panels to acquire exactly the color-depth/tone you want for your end result. GOOD LUCK, we are watching to see how you come out. DJ
  9. 351 and 4-spd would be cool, you have room for most anything you want to run, even a 427/4spd..... Any choice will be great!!!! (Watching the progress) DJ
  10. Good subject matter!!!! Will be watching..... Whatcha gonna use for engine/trans???? DJ
  11. Nice job on the Vega!!!! Like all the improvements...... DJ
  12. STEVE, Gotcha covered, PM me your mailing address and will put it in the mail. DJ
  13. VERY INTERESTING!!!!!! I too have a few of these just setting around, may have to try building a "stretch" wheelbase/twin-screw truck outta one of them. GREAT WORK Sam!!! Will be watching.... DJ
  14. STEVEN, Let me look, should be able to help you out, as none of the real trucks that I drove when I was young, had any automatic transmissions, (and that is all that I build)..... Will look this evening. DJ
