The Studebakers were good looking cars they were very close to the AMC look at the time most people would not remember but if you watched the old show Mr. Ed they had the Studebaker as their car and they also did ads for them to.

Thats really cool you also have the 1 to 1 that is in beautiful shape I am 72 and was always a AMC fan I grew up with them on the street thats when a car was a car and you had to drive it and it did not drive you. LOL.

Thanks yes that is next after i finish one i am working on now. Man, you right on the hood the front part was hard to do there was so much material at the nose i did under cut it a bit, so the hood is not completely stock but it's going to be a mild custom anyway yours came out perfect. When i bought this kit Modelhause was still around and i got all the chrome from them they had the Johan parts at the time I'm glad I did that before i put it away for so many years.

WOW ! I have this kit it has been sitting in my stash for 14 years i got as far as opening the hood and that's where I stalled out never even gave it a second thought till I saw yours again WOW that is beautiful the color wheels everything awesome build you just put new life in my kit.!

That is beautiful it looks awesome in black. I found a AMT 69 kit about 15 years ago I did it like my first car I got my license in July of 68 and got my first car in 70 it was the 69 wildcat it was the dark brown and those sport wheels it was at the time a dealer car it had 18,000 miles on it i drove it till the middle of 73 when the gas crunch hit and like so many other people got a smaller car I got a pinto it was a good car but nothing like the buick.!

WOW ! you did an awesome build with this kit i have one that's been sitting on the shelf for 8 years every time I open the box, I just see problems, but you really did a great job on it I love the colors just perfect.

Yes this roof looks much better i like the look of the angle fits the look of the car much better.

I love it that looks like something you would have seen on the salt flats in the 60's really cool.
