Hello, Yesterday afternoon, I was running my compressor as usual, to fill up my portable tank so I could paint at night, as usual. When the tank was reaching 100 psi, where it stops, all of a sudden BOOOOOOM!!!!!!!! PSssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh A hose connector failure sent the hose whiplashing and missed me by a few inches. That should work fine. The pearl content on the Velocity yellow is minimal. I'd say un-noticeable. I think it adds some depth but it feels and looks like a solid color.

Len, This may not hold in a court as hard evidence, BUT, I would think the C6-R is Velocity yellow for the following reasons: Millenium yellow was available only in 2005 on the C6. Velocity yellow was used in quite a few 2005 cars at the end of the production run. About 700 according to my estimates, vs about 2000 cars in Millenuim yellow. The first Z06 made in the assembly line was built in February 2005, with production cars started shortly after. This means that when the Z06 started rolling (as a 2006 MY) 2005 production was already winding down. The 2005 peroduction run officially ended Sept 8. The C6-R was unveiled together with the Z06 in January 10, 2005. It was clear it was going to be a 2006 model year. I've seen pictures of the C6-R in certain light conditions that indicate Velocity yellow. I saw the car personally, but without a Millenium Yellow nearby to compare, it is hard to tell. Bottom line: I would go with the VY but both colors are similar. I'd love to do Earnhardt's C5-R in millenum Yellow as a companion. Thanks, Ismael

Beautiful as a work of art and a sculpture. But, when it comes to not only as a beautiful car but also as one to be driven and kick everybody else's butt, you know where I lean to.... :wink: I've always had a soft spot for Ferraris and other exotics as well (Miura, Countach, Esprit, early Astons, Maseratis etc) in general from their beautiful design point of view. And then there is Porsche, which I love as well, but more for the driving and performance point of view than for design, which I like as well. Of course this is all a matter of personal taste. Hello, Although I've heard about this for a long time, it was not until recently I got interested in doing this. Steve and Peter both inspired me to try it. This is the Monogram simple but good looking Ferrari 308 GTB. No, Magnum's car was a GTS. I was afraid about this emblem because it is not available in photoetch (as far as I know). I foiled it, trimmed it as close as possible and applied primer. Then polished the primer away. It needs at least one more coat of primer but you get the idea. By the way, this car will be California Azzurro Metallic (light blue) Thanks,

Hello, My elbow hurts. Can I stop polishing now? This is as good as it will get. But it will probably get one final wax job after all body details are done, maybe after final assembly. Something I've learned from previous builds is to remove residue as much as possible, because it is hard to remove afterwards. Hope you like it. Thanks,

Depending on what information you already have, I'd search current kits in HLJ and model express. From there I'd check eBay for a few days / weeks. That should give you a heads up of most of them. These are also good sources for boxart as well. Hope this helps. Thanks,
