  1. What's up dude! I think I have a few extra, full-size top boots in my parts stash, I'll check and let you know
  2. Dude, that is really cool! Do you, or will you, have a 1/24 seaplane or float plane to go along with it?
  3. Thanks for that info man.. So, rare and hard to find, no wonder I've never seen any in 1/24 before.. Middling detailing by the sound of it too, so, reckon 3D is the best bet..
  4. I've spent TOO MUCH time on that site lol, but I reckon I'll have another look, thanks!
  5. Right on, thanks yall.. I'll check those links out.. I DID look through the catalogs of many of the suppliers listed on the forum, but didn't see a whole lot of what I was lookin for,, hence, this post I made.. I'm wanting 1/24 stuff specifically, so, that rules out lots of ready made kit parts, as far as I can tell.. Most 30s Ford kits in 1/24 scale are hot rod type stuff..
  6. Yo, what's up.. I'm lookin to get hold of several 1930s Ford related things, does anybody know if a 3d printing or resin casting dude makes any of this stuff in 1/24 scale? : -> 1935 Ford Phaeton body/top -> 1935 Ford wire wheels -> 1937 Ford Artillery wheels -> 1938 Ford Standard body/grille -> 1930s Ford factory stock Flathead V8 -> 1930s Ford various style factory hubcaps Thanks!
  7. Man, that's sweet, ain't never seen one of those before that I can recall.. Too bad there is nothing really that can be done about all the warping..
  8. Gone
  9. Hey, that Atlantis Buick is cool! Also, Atlantis ex-Revell 1962 Chrysler Corp. lineup WHEN?
  10. This is solid information, thanks
  11. It's cool.. I just want one of those trailers though..
  12. Heel yeah, another W, Round2 always bringing the coolest stuff to market for us, I'll buy 1 for sure!
  13. That car is excellent! They say it's had a rebuilt drivetrain, runs and drives, and is currently listed for sale for $11,000 bones..
  14. Buy one and find out! That's what I did.. And, it's a great kit btw..
  15. Interesting, I never knew that's how they did it.. Cool, cool build!
  16. It's just a little rain, jeez louise!! Those dudes are weird.. In 2017, I found and purchased a real deal, rust free, complete, numbers matching 1970 Chevelle SS 454 LS6 still wearing its slightly faded original Cranberry Red w/ black stripes, black buckets & console, 4-speed, 4.10:1 14-bolt rear, jacked up with air shocks in the back, mandatory Centerline trashcan lid wheels, and bright yellow traction bars.. It was the kind early 80s hot rod that everybody drove back then from what I gathered.. I dunno, I wasn't born yet.. And, what I paid for it was the kind of deal that would make ALL of YOU just sick lol! Those rain worrying kinds of dudes would lose sleep over the fact that I drove that car daily for the next 3 years, and I drove it HARD, and EVERYWHERE, in spite of the average of 6 mpg, adding some 20,000 miles to the 44,000 original miles that it had on it when I bought it.. Rain, shine, sleet, snow, mud, didn't matter! I even scored some hail dents during the 2018 tornado season way out in Iowa.. And again in 2019 going after what would later be known as the Dayton, Ohio Memorial Day EF4 tornado.. They're only cars, COOL cars, but, just cars.. My LS6, 1-of-4,475 built, went to its new owner in 2020, and has since been obsessively OVER-restored, and is now never driven, and is the kind of concours show car that literally gets pushed from the trailer, to the show field, and back again.. Anyway, my Canadian friend, THANK YOU for posting your pics from that Canada Day show! That Fargo van is excellent, and the obvious star of the show is that rare and beautiful 1960 Plymouth Fury convertible, but I can't help but dig that gray square body Chevy truck with the front mounted spare tire the most!
  17. Need a pair of 1/16 scale license plates, I'll trade ya somethin for em, PM me! Going on a '78 25th Anniversary Corvette.. USA-1 plates would be cool.. Ohio plates would be amazing.. 25th Anniversary dealer showroom plates would be unbelievable.. BUT, anything will do! Thanks for lookin!
  18. I never met the fella in person, however, we did business over the years many times, and he was always 100% totally honest, prompt with deliveries, and once I had established myself as a repeat customer, buying a dozen or more cars each time, he was always generous with discounted prices, and throwing in some extras here and there.. Fella seemed to really dig what he did, which is all any of us can ask for really, and was quite interested in the last project of mine that we had discussed, when I bought some bakers dozen AMT '57 Chryslers in one order, because I was set on building one in every factory color that Chrysler painted em, a series which I'm still doin btw.. Anyway, about a month ago, I had sent him correspondence again, and was wanting to place another pile of kits order with him, when I was informed a couple days later that he had died.. Anytime one of the good fellas goes on across the veil, the world dims some.. BUT, it seems as though, that before his trip across the way, Steve had handed the controls over to a fella called Kyle.. Kyle carried right on in the same manner as Steve had, took my order, made sure everything was 100%, and shipped it out to me SO fast, that it had arrived to my farm a full THREE days before HE even had the money order I sent to him!! Seems to be a good fella too! That said, R.I.P. to a Real One!
  19. I usually stay far away from these kinds of topics.. But, eh, you never know who's listening.. And, I don't care if the original tooling has been scrapped, strapped to Voyager I, or is trapped in another dimension, and therefore will never be etc, etc, etc.. In a world inhabited by motivated people with access to 3d scanners and printers, ANYTHING is possible.. AMT '58 Bonneville AMT '58 Ford AMT '59 Buick AMT '59 Ford AMT '67 Camaro Indy Pace Car AMT '68 Torino GT Indy Pace Car MPC '79 Mustang Indy Pace Car MPC '80 Trans Am Indy Pace Car MPC '82 Camaro Indy Pace Car AND, this next little bit is probably off-topic, if you hate that, stop reading.. If Round2 could please fix the inaccuracies in the '58 Plymouth, turn it into a proper Fury, or make a '57 Belvedere or Fury version of it, I will personally buy 2 cases of them, thank you!
  20. I know that upon seeing that killer box art on that upcoming releases poster, I got all jittery! HOW DAM COOL IS THAT THING?!? Looks to be yet another W for Round2..
  21. Box art shows the paint scheme of the Indy Fiero Pace Car, minus the lettering.. That'd be swell to see a Pace Car version sometime, OR maybe, just maybe, lettering decals included in this un.. In any event, I see myself gettin hold of two of these kits.. Hope Revell continues bringin stuff like this back!
