MPC 68 Coronet convertible up top
chryslerjunkandstuff replied to Keef's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Ditto, I really WANT that 3D Scale Parts convertible top to be GREAT, especially considering the price, BUT, it is wrong in nearly every possible way, unfortunately.. Correct me if I'm wrong, which I probably am, but didn't at least one issue of the AMT/Ertl '69 Plymouth GTX convertible come with a convertible up-top?? Anyway, if someone does come up with a styrene or resin cast solution for these convertible tops, PLEASE post it here, I'd be down to buy a couple of em.. -
Whats up, I'm turning my 1988 Buick Regal promo into either a 1988, or 1989 Regal Gran Sport.. Is there an existing kit, a resin maker, or a 3D maker that has wheels that are pretty similar to either set of factory wheels in the following photos? ^^^ 1988, and my preferred version ^^^ 1989, still cool I just need to find something close, and I can modify em from there..

Danbury Mint 1958 Chrysler 300D
chryslerjunkandstuff replied to THarrison351's topic in Diecast Corner
Man, that '58 300 D sure is sweet! I'd like to add one of em to my Forward Look MoPar collection one day.. Danbury also did a really limited '58 300 D convertible in a turquoise color.. Regarding the first car to achieve 1-horsepower-per-cubic-inch.. It was.. DeSoto! Of all brands.. With the '56 Adventurer.. -

Bummer, that's a big ol GM C-Body sedan, not an E-Body.. I'm hoping a link to a source for one does turn up, I'll be a buyer for sure! -
‘79-‘85 Eldorado 3D print…
chryslerjunkandstuff replied to mikos's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Man, my very first car was a 1984 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz, stainless steel roof, electric AstroRoof, Touring Suspension, 4-wheel disc brakes, digital everything, and every conceivable option.. Even had the 4.1 litre digital fuel injection V8 swapped out by the previous owner in favor of a 350 ci Oldsmobile Rocket V8.. I loved that car, and I do wish I still had it.. I'm going to be searching for a model of one of these babies now as well! -
paint question, aerosol
chryslerjunkandstuff replied to fiatboy's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Dupli-color isn't that expensive for how good it really is, $12.99 a can around here.. If you want factory original colors in aerosol, any good automotive paint supplier, or parts store, will be able to mix you a can of aerosol automotive paint in any color you can think up.. Cans cost between $15 and $25 per can, and it's worth every bit.. -
More from Atlantis models coming next year !

Round2 = G.O.A.T. Big thanks to them dudes for all that they do!
-
Nope, couldn't be happier myself.. Atlantis is doing cool things.. Moebius is amazing.. Round2 is consistently the best in the entire industry with all of their works.. They are absolutely PEERLESS.. With all the other Brand-X model companies, the awesome resin casters, and 3D printing, all us kit-head model builders have AN EMBARRASSMENT OF RICHES in terms of choice.. These are great days we're livin bros! More people need to understand that and be humbled and thankful, rather than to complain and whatever else all the time.. Food for thought..

Lame.. I opened this thread with a head full of ideas about the much anticipated 1962 Chrysler Corporation lineup finally being officially announced.. Oh well, hopefully one day.. Does anybody know if Atlantis is in possession of the molds for the wicked cool 1/4 scale 1962 Chrysler Slant 6 as well? -
I love Z's, but the first Japanese car that was collectible and sought out would either be the Toyota 2000 GT, or the Mazda Cosmo, as those were Super Cars, I reckon though that even something like a Prince Skyline, a Nissan Silvia, or even a Mitsubishi Galant GTO were collectible some years before the first Z was even manufactured.. Anyway, doesn't matter, cool story, thanks for sharing!
