The world, meaning the modeling world, and the WORLD world, needs more pre-war German cars.. They built some beautiful, fast, and sophisticated automobiles.. I'd love to see a model of a Horch, or a Rohr one day.. Anyway, I'll buy one, always wanted to build this kit, didn't want to pay the prices that the non-building box collector types wanted for it.. -

Nice, looks good! -
That Pikes Peak T/A Pace Car just went on my Wanted List to add to my Pace Car collection! It's a Greenlight, so, gotta wonder if there's any chance at all that they'll do a 1/24 scale version of it someday? Anyhow, way cool man, way cool..

Dude.. '72 Duster, '60 Chevy wagon, '27 Ford T Touring, Indy Drag Combo, a pair of '51 Bel Air hardtops, a pair of '64 Barracudas, a pair of '72 Jeepsters, a pair of '71 Cyclones, and *HOLY MOLY* a pair of those '63 Tempests WILL be acquired by me! Those dudes at Round2 are killin it!! That Barracuda, and especially that Tempest - seriously, who woulda thought they'd EVER resurrect THAT - give me hope that they can, and probably, hopefully, will bring back something like the '68 Torino Pace Car someday, or a convertible version of their excellent '68 GTO.. -

Right? They're way cool! -
Those Polar Lights hoods fit OK, and I'm like 91% sure that the hood from the new Craftsman Plus '68 GTO will fit the old MPC body just fine!

It's a really rad car.. Can anybody I.D. the door and quarter panel decals?? Also, dangit, while doing a bit of research on this car, I found ANOTHER Motorcraft IMSA GTO Thunderbird, which may be even cooler than the #77 car -> All there is to it, is that I'm gonna find me another NASCAR T-Bird, and do this #47 car too.. That's the only picture I've seen of it so far though.. -

Honestly, I have found little info on it, and only in the past like, couple months, did I even learn that they made IMSA GTO T-Birds myself! I knew as soon as I seen it that my Wrangler T-Bird was getting built like this though.. -

What's up, I'm using a Monogram '83 Thunderbird NASCAR to build this -> ^^^ Motorcraft IMSA GTO T-Bird.. Needing a set of wheels and tires from the Revell or Monogram Mustang IMSA GTO.. Pm me if you have a set of em, we'll figure out a trade! THANK YOU!

Those old cars don't weigh as much as they seem to.. My dad was floored when he learned what his 4 door sedan '57 Bel Air weighed when it was being restored several years ago..
-
Well, THAT'S the coolest build I've seen all year!
-
Good lookin build! I own a 1:1 '59 Imperial Crown Southampton that I'll build a model of sometime.. Also, in '59, it wasn't a CHRYSLER Imperial, as it was a seperate make, so, it's just called an IMPERIAL..

1958 Plymouth Fury weighed 3,800 lbs..

This is excellent! Also, the GTO on the cover of Hi-Performance Cars magazine is one of my most favorite cars ever built, I have that magazine framed and hanging up with all of my car junk, lookin forward to your build if it!
