  1. Nicely done man, nicely done! What a way cool car too.. I haven't ever seen one with a vinyl top like that.. Was yours the ONLY one?
  2. This dude, man, always coming up with the COOLEST and most unique builds out there! I love it, nicely done!
  3. Man, they're really doing LS on EVERYTHING ain't they? My cousin, a diehard Mitsubishi (or Japanese MoPars as I can em) guy, just showed me an LS swapped 3000GT..
  4. Never thought I'd see a Preston Tucker concept car done in 1/24 scale! It's is excellent, nicely done dude! Looks just like Tuckers original concept drawings..
  5. Thanks for the reminder, I had totally forgotten that this kit even existed as anything non-pre '65 MoPar is way out of my wheelhouse..
  6. I did try the ol Google, but didn't find much.. Thanks for this info though! Both the 2.8 and 3.1 are Chevrolet based engines, won't do, BUT that 20th Anniversary Pontiac is exactly what I need!
  7. Nice build, really cool car! When I saw The Black Knight, my first thoughts weren't of Batman or legendary German armored knights, but rather the truly ancient and anomalous Black Knight satellite orbiting this planet.. I can't be the only one..
  8. This is hands down one of the coolest WIP threads on the site, nice job! I've always loved this, and every other 1950s Dream Car ever made.. I'd be down to acquire a resin copy of the stock version, should a batch of em become available some day..
  9. Is anyone familiar with THIS kit : Cause honestly, I was not, until I stumbled upon it a few minutes ago.. And now, I have to have it.. But anyhow, any of yous guys know if the engine is well detailed? This car ought to have a Buick 3800 Series I V6 in it..
  10. Thanks for posting those pics dude! Looking more and more like I'm gonna have to get hold of one of them Series 1 engines..
  11. Yeah, I recently acquired a couple of Fiero kits, and I want to build one of em with one of these engine swaps, 3800 s/c or 4.6 Northstar.. Because it'll be rad.. An LSA is indeed not a Northstar.. Seller looks to have a decent couple of offerings, wish the '60 Saratoga wasn't a chop-top.. That Series 1 with the 4.0 Aurora Northstar seems to be pretty decently detailed, can anyone confirm? Looks to perhaps be the only game in town in any case.. What about those 80s Monogram Indy Car kits? Some of those were Buick V6 powered weren't they? Are those kit engines any good? One more question, wasn't there a kit of an early 2000s Cadillac LMP race car? Those were Northstar powered..
  12. Has anybody in the aftermarket world, or in the kit world for that matter, ever made these GM engines? Buick Series II 3800 supercharged V6 Cadillac 32-valve 4.6 Northstar V8
  13. BLACK BEAUTY!
  14. Yep, frame, chassis pan, engine compartment, transmission, seats, dash, and door panels from the AMT '57 300 C kit can be used as a base for yer DeSoto.. Though the seats, dash, and door panels require LOTS of massaging.. I've used that 300 C as the basis for all of my '57-59 Chrysler and DeSoto projects.. The dash and swivel seats for the '59s were the most difficult parts to do..
  15. Nicely done, nicely done! Love seeing these Forward Look cars in scale!
  16. These '55-61 Forward Look cars are the coolest looking wheeled things ever made, in my opinion.. This is an awesome project you've started, and judging by yer others that you've done, it will be a real jewel one day.. Regarding the possibility of turning it into an Adventurer, it's doable.. Most of my stuff is FL MoPar related, and there isn't much to start with in the kit world, so I have to make emblems and such from scratch often.. For emblems, I use a sheet of 0.10 thick Evergreen styrene, draw the emblem to scale, and cut it out with a blade.. Doing this absolutely DOES suck! It takes a while to do, is a real pain, isn't forgiving of any mistakes, and has been the source of many newly invented curse words.. BUT, is worth the trouble in the end.. And, I don't know any other way to get correct emblems for my little cars.. Here's a pic of one I just whittled out for my '58 Chrysler Saratoga project : Anyway, just throwing that out there.. Coolest WIP thread this year, I'll be following along for sure!
  17. Well, there it is.. The coolest thing in the World this week! I'll buy one..
  18. .......I'm good...... I'll be buying that Black Beauty though..
  19. Dam, that's the best build on one of these Cadillacs I've ever seen, nice job!
  20. Figured I'd post a few '70 Super Bee photos since THIS is happening : I reckon that like me, a bunch of yous already has at least a couple copies of this kit, but with the addition of the new decals, a bunch of yous, like me, are gonna be buying a couple more! Some info regarding Super Bee option codes.. The C-Stripe was standard equipment when you bought a Bee, V6W = White, V6X = Black, V6R = Red, V6B = Blue, and V6G = Green.. The Bumble Bee stripe was a no cost option on a Bee, V8W = White, V8X = Black, V8R = Red, V8B = Blue, and V8G = Green.. Stripe Delete option on a Bee was V88..and while it had no stripes, it did still have the Bee roundel.. Anyway, now we can build a model of a '70 Bee with extremely rare factory stripe colors, which is cool af, thanks to Round2! Here's some pics I seen on the internet : V6R Red C-Stripe on a TX9 Tuxedo Black Super Bee.. V6G Green C-Stripe on a FF4 Light Green Super Bee.. V6B Blue C-Stripe on a EB5 Bright Blue Super Bee.. V88 Stripe Delete FY1 Bright Yellow Super Bee.. Does anyone have any more pics?
