Johan '77 Coupe Deville Promo
chryslerjunkandstuff replied to Perspect Scale Modelworks's topic in Model Cars
Dam, that's the best build on one of these Cadillacs I've ever seen, nice job! -
Figured I'd post a few '70 Super Bee photos since THIS is happening : I reckon that like me, a bunch of yous already has at least a couple copies of this kit, but with the addition of the new decals, a bunch of yous, like me, are gonna be buying a couple more! Some info regarding Super Bee option codes.. The C-Stripe was standard equipment when you bought a Bee, V6W = White, V6X = Black, V6R = Red, V6B = Blue, and V6G = Green.. The Bumble Bee stripe was a no cost option on a Bee, V8W = White, V8X = Black, V8R = Red, V8B = Blue, and V8G = Green.. Stripe Delete option on a Bee was V88..and while it had no stripes, it did still have the Bee roundel.. Anyway, now we can build a model of a '70 Bee with extremely rare factory stripe colors, which is cool af, thanks to Round2! Here's some pics I seen on the internet : V6R Red C-Stripe on a TX9 Tuxedo Black Super Bee.. V6G Green C-Stripe on a FF4 Light Green Super Bee.. V6B Blue C-Stripe on a EB5 Bright Blue Super Bee.. V88 Stripe Delete FY1 Bright Yellow Super Bee.. Does anyone have any more pics?

I love that car.. That black paint job looks to be about a mile deep, it's awesome! -

Excellent project you've got going here.. I've always dug this car too.. Then I remembered, hey, I've got some pics of it in my files that cannot possibly aid in this build thread! Better post em anyway! Probably my favorite photo of this car, and it is too cool that they used a '57 Plymouth Fury to haul this thing around with on a tow bar, AND used it for push-starts, etc. I'd love to have a resin kit of this car someday.. -
I'd buy every single one of them if they were released again! Exner cars are the best cars..

Yo, what's up.. I'm doing a commission build, that I'll ultimately start an individual thread on because it is pretty cool, but I've found myself in need of either these exact style of wire wheelcovers, or something that is pretty dang close : They are 1986-92 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham rear wheel drive wheelcovers.. SO, is there anyone that casts these in resin? Or more likely, can 3D print them? I've done a bit of searching and haven't come up with too much..

57 ford fender skirts???
chryslerjunkandstuff replied to Tom Kren's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I found out that the ones from the AMT '58 Edsel version that had continental kit & skirts worked out pretty well on my AMT '57 Fairlane 500 project with some minor adjustments.. -

Holy smokes, that thing is the t-ts! I'll take 2! And if speculation is correct, and by the look of the rear interior panels which *look* like convertible style ones, maybe there'll be a proper convertible in the future? Then I could finally be able to build a model of my 1:1.. Good, good stuff.. -

Nope, only heard the stories.. The REAL E. Scheib was before my time.. I earned that moniker via doing high quality paint and body works for the last couple decades, go figure lol Around here we DID have Maaco tho, Scheibs spiritual successors whom would respray your car in any color for $149.95 and they sprayed everything including trim, weather stripping, bugs, dirt, tires, and lenses.. I'll give em this at least, their paint works were unbelievably shiny! -

Why the odd shape? "Chrysler in the 1950s" is usually my go to blanket statement.. I do know that these ones were only used in the Imperial and Chrysler 300 B without Air Conditioning.. Here's a couple '56 300 B pics where you can see it.. This next one is from an all original car and is kinda worn, but you can see that, at one time, the speaker frame was tan.. And here's a '56 Imperial Newport.. And one more '56 Imperial.. Oh, and uh, I almost forgot.. -

It's the rear speaker grille and frame. Grille would be black, and frame would be the same color as the package tray, so in a 300 B, it'd be tan..
