  1. It's nice to have seasons, here it's just hot or hotter with some coolness for about two weeks, then back to hot.
  2. Replicas in miniature of Maryland has those in resin.
  3. This kit has its issues , but it isn't the Trumpeter Bonneville kind of failure.
  4. It does look pretty tall in there. One thing that may help is to flip the oil pan around. The sump should be at the rear. I would also scoot the firewall back and make it flush with the cowl (that's where it should be located) so you have more room at the rear of the engine. I have the six cylinder coming in a trade. Once I get it, I can compare it to a real engine that I have here. The size of the engine looks right. It may just be that it's too high in the frame. I ddidn't realize that I may have the oil pan on backwards it is pin specific if I remember correctly I am used to Ford V8's with the oil pump & sump being in frontfront.
  5. Frankly, I'm appalled when I see moron 'patriots' abusing this country's flag too. There was a time when our flag meant something sacred to most every American. We treated it with the respect and reverence it deserves, because of what it truly stands for. We used to take it down in the rain. We used to never let it touch the ground. If it wasn't illuminated, we used to take it down at night too, and carefully fold it. And many of us fought, killed and died for what the American Flag means...freedom. Correction: apparently, what it USED to mean. Frankly, I'm appalled when I see moron 'patriots' abusing this country's flag too. 6. I had a manager at one place, He said if you haven't heard a rumor by 9 am start one. For some this rule applies to Drama.
  7. The pressure appears to high to me. I usually shoot paint at around 15 PSI
  8. It looks similar to a Smithy machine, very nice job on those by the way.
  9. I am under 60, and fedoras are bad ask.
  10. Ground strap from your paint surface to a grounding rod,
  11. I have the engine mocked in place, somehow with the cab in place, the engine appears a little taller than it should be?
  12. I know electricity, whenever I do any on my own. I am meticulously careful, like anal Bill. Unlike some I know my limits, it only takes a small amount of voltage to kill someone. Do yourself a favor, pay a licensed electrician to do the work, before you stick yourself, or your Family in a bubbling stew pot.
  13. I have had one for years. Never used it though, but I have one.
  14. I will look into those. The Monsoon storms haven't really hit over here yet. That scares Santo, Johnny, seems to do ok. He just Hunkers down.
  15. 22 LR subsonic is relatively easy to find. For lower prices. It's the high velocity rounds, that has people camping out at Walmart at 4am waiting til 8am, so they can buy the only two 500 round boxes.
  16. Overall I like it, just small problem areas were mentioned from mine. Which can be overcome somehow, or someway.
  17. My dogs were scared to death last night, it sounded like a war zone right next to my home, and went well beyond a reasonable time for quality entertainment.
  18. I am building the short bed version. I have encountered some prominent sink marks, along the top of the bed sides and some at the rear side of the bed, on both sides. Also my cab has some distinct stress marks, indicating it was somewhat forcefully pulled from its mold.
  19. The first car I ever owned. Lemon twist 1970 Plymouth Road Runner.
  20. In the past Norm Veber has sent a complimentary catalog. Along with a bumper sticker that proclaimed, I "heart" model cars. With the order, if that ain't a deal breaker I don't know what is.
  21. I bought the last bright chrome package they had this morning, they did have several of the matte aluminum packet's, some copper, and gold, if your into that.
  22. For primer use rattle can, I use duplicolor brand or Martin Senour, found at automotive parts store. It's just easier, than having to deal with the cleanup, there are acrylic primers if you feel you have to have them. However I am not familiar with them.
  23. Would like to see a short bed 4x4 soon,
